I'm filling the forms for my parents sponsorship. My husband is my co-signer. Should I put his Birth Certificate as well?

Please help.

Thank you,

Yes, you can put his birth certificate/passport/id where they can see his name on it

If you go thru checklist you can see it there

If you purchased option of signature required with the courier then you will be able to track it. At least that's what I did with Canada Post and I can view who received the application.
Ya, i do see the signature. But again, how does that confirm that your file is in process and has reached correctly?

Maybe i am asking, if we get an email from CIC that they have received the application and will process? Just some acknowledgement or something?

I was hoping to receive documents from back home by first week of June but they are here now. I tentatively asked parents to put June 1, 2019 as date next to signature when they sign the form. Now that I have file ready and good to go, should I wait until June 1 to send it via Canada Post Or Can I pay the fees and send it today? I have until June 26 but would it matter to send post-dated documents?

Thanks for your time and advice

Thank you,

if your husband is a Canadian then YES
normal documents are Marriage certificate , Passport pages and PR card of the co-signer

yeah, i saw another post similar to yours (thank you for posting it again though!) and that's why i am not worried.
i got confirmation from Canada Post that the package was delivered so now I will just leave it to CIC to do their thing and contact me if they need anything else.
Some people are freaking out about this ECAS thing for no reason: this whole process may take up to 2 years to be finalized, people need to learn how to wait LOL

I think what freaks out people is the fact that - even though Canada Post confirms that the package was delivered, getting a confirmation from CIC that the package was received, will definitely help.

I am in the same boat, as the file was delivered yesterday but how do I know CIC official received it?

Hi,

My father have been convicted 3 years ago for an Infringement of a property (the conviction was just to pay a small amount of money), should he answer yes or no for the following question:

Have you ever been convicted of, or are you currently charged with, on trial, or party to a crime or offence, or subject of any criminal proceedings in any country ?

After reading the post, is it correct to conclude that CIC will not contact you for "file is received"? and it might be months or even a year from now that we receive an email from CIC for PCC or medical?

Yes. They are very busy with all these application packages coming in to the extent they even hired a third party to sign for the packages when it goes to them.

So be patient. I am sure the IRCC staff are probably grumbling with the increased workload they have now.

Has he been been RELEASED from charges?
