I think providing both is the smartest option if possible.

I cant help but think that there will be some delay (albeit minor) given the required intergovernmental coordination. Thats my opinion. There is no proof of this.
send both of them, and the officer has the option to double check with CRA.

Quick question, do you put the receipt as the first page or the Document check-list. And follow the order that it requests? Thanks sending application today.

They scan documents. The agent has to take the staples off...very annoying for them. Years ago I had sponsored my spouse, and spoke to my Case Officer directly (not a CIC agent that one talks to on the general number) who very kindly requested me not to staple the additional supporting document requested. She mentioned that they have to scan the documents, take the staples off and often the documents get stuck...blah blah...you get the gist

Use a paper clip instead OR feel free not to take this advice. Its your application at the end of the day...:)
So they might return the application. It does not make sense.

They will not. I got my PR in 2011 and had stapled forms. Did for my wife in 2015. My brother and his wife did last year and we all got our PRs. Have used these for my parents docs also.

I sent my application to CIC via Canada Post and it has been showing “Out for delivery” since yesterday morning. I had taken signature option. I asked Canada Post if it has been delivered or not and they cant tell. They just said that they deliver thousands of mails to this mailbox and its impossible to scan every package (so much for tracking and signature add on). It should have been delivered but they cant guarantee. Anyone else had similar experience?

My docs just got delivered to PO Box address in Ottawa. Sent from Toronto by Canada Post yesterday. Receiving signed by SCI SCHLIEBNER. Does it sound familiar to those who have already sent their docs?

I have a question :
The total number of members shown in online interest was 4. Now now my daughter born in february. For the proof of change, I can not submit her birth certificate because there is error in my birth place in her certificate and i have given it for change.
In hospital papers her name is baby.
She is having health card, sin number and her passport is in process.
What exactly should we submit?
In the application you should show number of members as 5 (five).. Submit explanation on increase in number of members and also on name...

Yeah I got the same signature. I don't think it's a person just the company that does the sorting for IRCC, you are all set and now your watch begins .......

Thank you. That's my point, please guys when you recommend something avoid stressing out about tiny details for new members. Wish all the best for all the applicants.
