hi IT experts. I download a pdf form and then make many copies out of it for testing, many I delete and then I make a final copy, would quality of final copy same as first one I downloaded. Thanks

I wonder what quality you're asking? PDF is a document viewer/editor. This isn't some graphic stuff that loses quality if you copied and re-copied again and again.

a bit awkward question but for the form 1344 - application to sponsor,

while adding the co-signer details, it is asking the date on which my wife became the Permanent resident. She landed 3 months after i landed. i was the Primary applicant.

Do we have to write the dates separately or same date twice ( which in this case will be mine ) ?

Separate.
You only become PR when you land.

Hello Members,

I have been selected to apply for parents and grandparents application and have following questions.
I would like to sponsor my parents and grandmother (3 of them) for the Permanent Resident Application. When i read the guide, i summarize the following.

I need to put two application:
1) My mother/father as a principal applicant with father/mother as their dependents
2) My Grandmother as a principal applicant with no dependents

Is it a correct interpretation?
If yes, does it need to go in the same envelope along with my sponsorship forms and documents?

I am in the same boat. My understanding is that you are correct. 2 separate applications: one for parents and one for your grandmother.
As with the envelope, I am planning to submit two different envelopes and include the same invitation letter in both of them. Also explaining in the explanation letter that this application is only part one of the two.

My main reason for sending two envelopes is the following sentence from the application guide (step 4 submit application):

"We don’t accept multiple applications in one package"

I have also called a CIC agent and she had NOOOOO clue about this. So I had to read the guide to her and point her to different places. Then she agreed with me :-p

In my opinion separate date would apply

@kinetic2214 and with signature or without?

It was with signature, I thought Xpress was always with signature and Priority was without.
But I could be wrong, anyway, mine was with signature and it was signed by SCI FARLEY

PDF is a document like word docx, by deterioration of quality I mean printed appearance of alphabets

Perfect. So far, I have not found a pattern then. I will stick to my enthusiastic intern theory!

Hi friends, I have created a list of all documents which will be required for parent's sponsorship.

Below list has also the details of number of copies, please correct it, if needed any modification.
  1. Invitation letter -1 copy-
  2. IMM5771 - Document checklist -1 copy-
  3. IMM1344 - Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking -1 copy -Only one form with details of Sponsor(me) and Prinicipal Applicant(father)
  4. IMM5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship -1 copy
  5. IMM 0008 - Generic Application Form for Canada -1 copy - Only one form with details of Principal Applicant(father) and dependent(mother)
  6. IMM 5669 - Schedule A – Background/Declaration - 2 copies - One each for Principal Applicant(father) and dependent(mother)
  7. IMM5406 - Additional Family Information - 2 copies - One each for Principal Applicant(father) and dependent(mother)
  8. Processing fee -1 copy -
  9. Photocopy of Canadian Residency -1 copy - In my case photocopy of PR card (both sides included)
  10. Proof of principal applicant's relationship to sponsor -1 copy- Birth Certificate of sponsor(me)
  11. Copy of travel document or passport for the principal applicant and each dependent applicant - 2 copies - Passport photocopy of Principal Applicant(father) and dependent(mother)
  12. Proof of principal applicant's relationship to an accompanying dependent spouse -1 copy- In my case marriage affidavit since I do not have marriage certificate of Principal Applicant(father) and dependent(mother)

Hi dont forget to write on the back of one photograph, like stamp of photo studio, date photo taken, name of person, date of birth of person; can you share format of marriage affidavit and are you sure affidavit work (any reference) . Thanks

Okay you meant printing. There shouldn't be.
If you have laser printer, go with laser. I tried printing in both inkjet and laserjet, the laserjet prints far better especially the barcode part which is crucial.
