Hi. Thanks for all the information . It helps a lot
Is the resume, service tax cert , gst cert , last 10 years tax statement necessary ?
Absolutely not necessary. Decision to provide this info is entirely up to you. My father runs his own firm. Often Case Officers ask additional documents (based on previous year's threads) to prove employment when self employed etc. Hence we added.

But that's what I find absurd. They haven't stated a minimum exit duration. I was thinking of trying our luck by just going to the US for a week, instead of the home country. Is that also frowned upon?

If you are ready to take that risk, you can try that. But, If its closer to the exit dates from CANADA, then they very well know what the visit was for. In the end it all depends on the visa officer at the time of entry. While entering in Canada by road, they no longer put new stamps on visitors passport and without new stamp the stay is not extended. I would suggest entering CANADA by air, then they have to put a new stamp.

If there is a change in family composition during the process that results in you not meeting LICO, such as having a child, you can add your husband. If you lose your job or something like that and no longer meet LICO, no, you can't add him and can expect a refusal.
That's exactly the reason why we would change our minds. Right now I do make enough for a family of 4 BUT I am also going on mat leave in July. IF (and that is a big if) my app gets processed this year then I'd be ok. But if it rolls into Apr 2020, chances are I will need his help.
I am not worrying about losing my job - the mat leave is just on a not-so-great timing.

Thank you :)

The reason I asked is my father has pharmacy back home and he is still running it as Chemist and I kept his intended occupation here as "retired" since he is 64 years old. So I am confirming ahead as I am getting documents couriered by them and will ask them if needed.

As per the application you need to meet requirements of 2018-2016. So you dont have to worry for this year

Submitted the application... wait begins...
Hello Kinetic,

Could you tell what have you filled in the family size for each year in q14 form 5768e. ? Did you included your parents in last three years. ?

Reposting my question as it was unanswered .
PGP form 5768 Q14, what you guys filled in Q14 Family size for each year? DO we need to include our parents in family size for each year for last three years? Even though they were not financially dependent on us ? People respond ?

Same situation, I also put Intended occupation as "Retiree". Long story short, these documents are NOT required (Don't let anyone tell you otherwise). It is entirely up to YOU. I will not recommend one way or the other. We CHOSE to include it upfront.

Hi @scylla @canuck_in_uk : My family size for the year 2016, 2017, 2018 was 4 and 2019 January it became 5, what will be my family size for the last 3 years?

Also my wife works in a school and she goes on EI every two months a year and starting January 2019 she is on a maternity leave. How do i go about while filling the Q17 for my wife since she is the co-signer? Do i have to include the time gap while she was on EI and put the income under the Benefits for period? Please suggest.

TIA!!

Then save yourself the hassle and just include him as a cosigner from the start.
