Hi all,

With so many replies within a day, I found it hard to go through each of post. I'm sorry if the question was answered before.

The complete date of marriage of my father and mother; and the complete date of birth of my grandparents are unknown. I will use * for the unknown day where applicable, but that means form IMM008enu and IMM5669E can not be validated. And it shows 'validated' as No on the top right corner of the form.

Can someone confirm with me that CIC still accepts a form without being validated?

Also, it seems to me CIC accepts photocopies of signatures for spousal sponsorship application. They will only require original signatures if they think it's necessary. Can someone let me know that is also acceptable for parents sponsorship application?

Hello everyone!!

I am separated from my husband from last three years i dont even know where he is. We dont have any children and doenst have anything in joint like bank account etc. And i am filling tax as separated status from last year. I need to know do i have to count my husband while calculating family size? I dont have any court separation agreement. I will be applying for divorce this week. I am thinking to put petition from lawyer that i have filed my divorce which will show separation date on it. Do i still have to include my husband in family size calculation. Please let me know if anyone has same situation or any experience.

Thanks

Hi, Sorry if this is a repeated question, I haven't read the whole thread. When we provide copies of passport and PR cards, should we have them certified and submit the certified true copies of them?
Thanks.

I have a question of trv denial. My mom visited canada on trv visa last year. After 5 months of her entry into canada, we applied for extension. One month after that, she completed 6 months as visitor and was under implied status due to pending visa extension application. One month after that while extension application was still pending, she left Canada and returned back to her home country. After another month or so, she got a passport request. But since she had already left the country and did not intend to visit canada again, she did not send her passport (also her passport had expired at that time). So her extension application was denied as a result. Do I need to write attach a letter to explain why her trv was denied? Will this affect her pr application?

Hi,
While filling my interest to sponsor form I used Singh as my last name but when checked my passport all of my name was included in given name with no surname.
Should I attach letter of explanation and notarized affidavit to prove both of these are same person's name?

You don't need to add affidavit for this reason. It is common problem with Indian passports where Singh is not added to last names. CIC is aware about this problem. Many people did same to validate the submission form. You just need to add explanation letter.

Yes you should explain this to make your case clear to Immigration officer.

For form IMM 5669, I am providing a letter of explanation for some issues. Does this explanation letter need to be attested or signed by the applicant (my mother) ?
