Not exactly travel history, but we can mention that in personal history.

Are you guys filling out shorter trips less than 6months? I just filled retired for the last 10yrs, as my father is retired n nothing else, though he had 1-2 month trips to US and Canada in the last 10yrs.

I mentioned all of them, even 1 month also.
Just to be on safe side. If you remember the months when he travelled, its better to put.

Guys, none of the forms ask for travel history? correct? It's strange.
I included it under personal history with all the activities, it is a lot of work but i would still fill it out, my parents visited 15 countries for the past 3 years so a lot of in and out, although trips are less than 6 months each. Better safe than sorry.

Please help me in finding the EI information (gross EI earned for that yr). I dont see it in notice of assessment.
Sorry. I do not have that information. If you filed your own tax or even reviewed it with your accountant, you should know where and what was the amount. May be some other members know where to look for that in your tax return (It may not be in the NOA).

In which form did you write this . I have not seen any form asking personal history under all activities ?

My parents visited 5 countries in last 4 years. Very short trips. Do I have to mention that also. ? in Back ground declaration.

Ok from those examples, I found the following one more close to my situation. But can you please help to find the family size of Anne in 2016, 2017 and 2018?

Example 3
Ryan and Anne became common-law partners in 2017. They had a baby in 2018. Ryan wants to sponsor his grandmother and grandfather. Ryan’s grandparents don’t have any dependent children. Anne will be the co-signer.

If Ryan wants to sponsor his grandparents in 2019, Ryan and Anne (together) have to meet the income requirements for 2018, 2017 and 2016.

In 2016, Ryan’s family size was 3:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
In 2017, Ryan’s family size was 4:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
In 2018, Ryan’s family size was 5:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
  • his baby
Even though Anne is only included in the family size in 2017, she has to provide her proof of income for 2018, 2017 and 2016, as she’s the co-signer on the application.

Hey guys! Am I the only one without invitation email here? :(

Did anyone try to call CIC? Everytime i call their number 888-242-2100, then dial 2-1-3 based on instructions for PGP sponsorship, it tells me they are experiencing a high volume of calls. Then it hangs up. This is very frustrating.. Why dont they let me stay on the line to wait? How am I supposed to get connected by keeping trying to call and keeping being hang up...

Is there any specific question you want to ask from CIC agent ?. Probably try to find answer yourself or ask in forum. If cant find then try CIC. There will be lot of people calling CIC these days due to opening of Parents and Grandparents program and you may not get connected easily to CIC agent.
