For financial evaluation page:

Should the co-sponsor put the same family size same as the sponsor in employment history chart. Although they got married in 2019.

Sponsor put family size 2 for 2016, 2017 and 2018 (including him and mother to be sponsored and 3 for 2019 (including cosponsor)

Cosponsor was single in 2016-2018. So should she put 1 as family size for those years or copy the same as sponsor?
Please advise..

On forms 5768, 5406 (these two for sure, maybe more?) it states at the top "TYPE or PRINT in black ink"
Type or Print doesnt mean signature I guess. :confused:

Thanks. I appreciate your reply.. do you have a format? does this require any explanation letter
I am not sure about format. may be you can get the sample if you search it. and I would say there is no harm in the letter of explanation. I am attaching one explanation letter. :)

If the document is in English , we do not need certified true copies or self attested birth certificate, marriage certificate etc , correct?

I completed filling all forms and this is what I think are applicable. Please confirm

Sponsor

IMM5768

IMM0008enu_2d - My father has only one dependent (my mother) and therefore I dont need to fill additional dependent form.

How to fill maternity leave (EI) benefit in employer section of Financial Evaluation form ? Any suggestions.

I have a question here. I'm sponsoring my mother to apply her pr, but can I submit a relationship certificate instead of my birth certificate to prove that my mother is my mother? I now just have a relationship certificate which I got when I applied for my pr 6 years ago. If it doesn't work, I have to go back to China for a birth certificate, but it's quite hard for me to leave Canada recently. TIA
What happened to your birth certificate? Lost?

Yet another family size question... sponsoring mom only (she is divorced and I'm a single kid)

2016 - single
2017 - single
2018 - married
2019 - married and pregnant

Family sizes:
2016 - 2
2017 - 2
2018 - 3
2019 - 4
Or.. family of 3 between 2016-18 and family of 4 next year when they ask for confirmation I still meet minimum income?

I have read the FAQ ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14) and I believe it should be 2/2/3 but it would be nice to have a second set of eyes on this. Thanks in advance :)
Hi, Do you have your spouse as co-signer on application?

Hello everyone,
Forgive me if this has been discussed already.
My parents took photos and sent me the electronic copies, is it ok if I develope my parents picture here in Canada and I write all the information at the back of the photo?

no you should not do that because the photographer should sign the back of the photo, confirming parents are on the photo.Don't risk the chance of rejected application.

The back of one (1) photo must:

  • bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio;
  • bear the date the photo was taken;
  • The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are not accepted.

Quick question - I was a PR in Jan when I applied. In March I became a Citizen. So, what should I do now. I have photocopy of the PR card.
