Yes. I was on the same boat 2 months ago. Once I submitted the 2nd PCC they sent me email about the passport request after 1 week. Hang in there. You are almost there.

If they haven’t I believe it’s a no. You have to wait for there instructions.

Also can I travel to USA and come back in canada with them on ecopr?

For medical I'm 100% sure you can do it, it is called upfront medicals.

As for the PCC I am not sure if you can but I'd say try it anyways it does not hurt, worse case it will expire before they need it and you'd have to redo.

Ps - I also plan on doing upfront PCC.

They need to have COPR (unsigned copy) sent with the passport.

Technically you can apply for a rush PR card. However, I don't know the process or if they even acknowledge/honor that process.

That said, you can travel by land border only as long as you're using a non commercial vehicle you would be able to cross without a physical PR card and your COPR but you MUST be in a private vehicle, it cannot be commercial.

There is no waiting period right now because of COVID. But who know a month from now.

I'm wondering this, also. My mother just got her pre-arrival letter and medical request a few weeks ago. The mailing address is in Canada but her regular address is in Brazil, and she's currently here in Canada waiting for it all to conclude. Should I change her address or will this only delay things?

Also, please update tracker @robertp ! May 27, 2022 - received medical request June 14, 2022 - Medicals passed

Please let me know if you found any other info on this ? I am also a little confused as well and dont want to delay things again due to update in address.

I haven't seen an answer to this yet, @muzmil. I haven't updated yet, but maybe I should? Impossible to get an answer from them since no agents are ever available. I'm hoping that because the medicals were obviously done in Canada, that they'll figure out she's here visiting, but who knows.

We have the same issue. My parents came here in April 2021, I got their address changed to Canadian one. But now in ECAS it's again showing their Indian address, although mailing address is Canadian ( I am their representative, maybe that's why). Now I tried to change again to Canadian a couple of times, but it's not changing now.
