Supervisa is a type of visitor visa only. They give you multiple entry visitor visa. I am putting "visitor visa" as option.

What are you putting in "To" dates if the parents are currently in Canada on super visa and don't know how long they are gonna stay?

Someone in this forum advised me it would help if i lose my job during the process and my wife is still working. It made sense. But, in your case if she is not working, you don't need to add her as a co-signer at all. Even if u do, no difference.

Do I still need to fill the additional dependent form 0008DEP if mother is the principle applicant and father is the only dependent? Thanks

What does the principal applicant do?
At this stage, the principal applicant must:

  • Sign the Application to sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344)
  • Complete and sign the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) and the Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) and include your accompanying and non-accompanying dependents on one form
  • Complete the Additional Dependents/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) if more than five accompanying or non-accompanying family members exist

This made my day. I was worried if I'm in the 20k or not. Doesn't matter anymore. IRCC is giving chance to everyone. Thank you Canada!! You are so generous.

Yet another family size question... sponsoring mom only (she is divorced and I'm a single kid)

2016 - single
2017 - single
2018 - married
2019 - married and pregnant

Family sizes:
2016 - 2
2017 - 2
2018 - 3
2019 - 4
Or.. family of 3 between 2016-18 and family of 4 next year when they ask for confirmation I still meet minimum income?

I have read the FAQ ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14) and I believe it should be 2/2/3 but it would be nice to have a second set of eyes on this. Thanks in advance :)
