Will they refund the biometric fees for those of us whose parents are in Canada?Check the tracker, a few of us, I'm for one, believe it's due to applicants in Canada when applying are currently exempted.

They should, but who knows when. Or maybe the applicants currently living in Canada will be asked to do biometrics after the services are available in Canada. It is not a lot of money anyways. I am not too concerned. Will they refund the biometric fees for those of us whose parents are in Canada?
Think this way, when they refund, it's official that we don't need to do biometrics at all. Until then, be prepared that it'll be required later. Will they refund the biometric fees for those of us whose parents are in Canada?
Hi sorry for the late reply. That was my understanding too but @gigab mentioned on the post that there is a way to apply but but for stamping u may leave canada and come back to get stamped.
File received on April 26th still in application receivedDid anyone's ecas changed today from "Application Received" to "In Progress" ? Looks like "In Progress" is only up to 3rd May.
It doesn’t matter, the whole processing is random. My application was received on April 26th , quite literally the first day they could be received and there’s no updates on itWith all these biometrics request; when did these people submit their applications? Late April, early May 2019?
Mine is April 26th and no progress, the whole processing order is random, it’s like when they reach the mail room they throw them in the air and whatever reaches a table is processed and the others are left to gather dustSurprisingly they have stopped processing any application beyond May 1st onwards.
It is anything but random. The eCas date is on May 13th.It doesn’t matter, the whole processing is random. My application was received on April 26th , quite literally the first day they could be received and there’s no updates on it

It is not random diegosolano, some people have been requested for missing documents etc and they did not see any progress or any update on eCAS as all but behind the scene it is still being processed. What status you see on eCAS? Is it only Application Received?Mine is April 26th and no progress, the whole processing order is random, it’s like when they reach the mail room they throw them in the air and whatever reaches a table is processed and the others are left to gather dust
In your case, can this be anything to do with issue with Venezuela considering canada has recently closed its embassy there ?Mine is April 26th and no progress, the whole processing order is random, it’s like when they reach the mail room they throw them in the air and whatever reaches a table is processed and the others are left to gather dust
Nobody promised it wasn’t going to be random only that the order of applications selected would be determined by the EOI. It does seem like those who submitted early are being processed faster than those who submitted later. It is a mail room with stacks of applications that they are processed in batches as they come in.It doesn’t matter, the whole processing is random.
