The Invitation letter is the attachment provided by CIC when they have asked you to submit the application forms. In the invitation letter, you would see the barcode. Can anyone please tell me what letter you submitted (or going to submit) for "Parents and Grandparents Invitation To Apply Letter" found in the document checklist? How can I find my conformation number?

Anyone?I have a situation :
My parents got their tourist visa last year and while filling their forms for tourist visa, I didn't mention my dad's government job ( and specifically marked check box as NO because at that time I thought it was asking about positions such as jugdge, civil servant etc whatever was mentioned as example and yes, I made this stupid mistake then).
Now that I am filling their PGP application, I have similar question again and now I am thinking what should I do? Should I mention the government position or keep the consistency with tourist visa application???
What bad can happen if I mention the govt job now? Does they require extra security clearance or something?
I don't think my parents have UCI so I left the space blank, would that be okay?
1st copy with your father's name in the applicant section and all details about him.
2nd copy with your mother's name in the applicant section and all the details that refers to her.
I tried 1900/01/01, but unfortunately,we won't be able to validate the form. So, to avoid any chance of application return, we have to make sure the form is validated. What I did was, i put, 1900/01/01. Then write a letter explaining why you did it. Tell them for validation purposes and that the birthdate is unknown. Explain why it's unknown to support your argument.
Some reliefCorrection here: So I talked to a friend who sent in application on 28 April and he still has not received the eCAS status as "Application Received", he was able to reached the customer service agent last week and was advised that there is nothing to worry about as they are still queuing people for initial processing and status shown as Received in eCAS does not mean that it has been checked for completeness yet. There is nothing to worry about if your eCAS still not showing anything as the agent was able to tell my friend they received the application and that it is simply not been read yet as they received too many at the same time. Rest assure that they timestamp all incoming packages and will process in that order. Sorry for causing false alarm. Happy Victoria day!
Thanks. Have another question:1st copy with your father's name in the applicant section and all details about him.
2nd copy with your mother's name in the applicant section and all the details that refers to her.
