I did reach out to MP they said I just have to wait . I mean I read through the posts here everyone usually have received within few days, same days but why this with me. god is testing me to extreme.
time line pleaseyesterday, at 5:09 EST, I received the EMAIL I was waiting for the past 3 years and 5 months!Finally, it is our turn. I cannot believe it came to an end... now, getting the visa on their passports. Good luck everyone!!! May 2019 to Oct 13, 2022 ----
- application was received on May 27, 2019.
- Approving Sponsorship - somewhere in Sept 2019
- Medical instructions on March 2, 2020
- August 13, 2021 - police check request.
- April 12, 2022 - renewal for medical and 2nd police check
- October 13, 2022 - letter with instructions re-sending passports.
Any idea on processing times to receive PR card? We were just instructed to mail photos to London office along with copy of pr letter. It was sent on sep 27, any idea when we can expect PR card?
can you travel to US without the card and just carry the PR doc?
also wanted to know, I see some people linking or card application in GCKey, what is that for?

my mom is still waiting on the 1st medical request, but she wants to move to Canada asap either by traveling in and out of country using visitor eTA visa or by applying to super visa and hopefully her file will get processed sometime soon. a few questions:
1. visitor visa allows multiple entries of up to 6 months of stay, but if she stays for ~6 months then leaves Canada for 2 weeks, she won't be allowed back in beyond the initial 6 months, right? she'd have to wait a year to be able to visit for another 6 months?
2. is applying for super visa while waiting for a PR via PGP 2019 going to compromise or delay her PGP application?
3. super visa appears to take a while to process and she has to apply from outside of Canada. Can she apply from outside of Canada and continue the process from within Canada? i.e. arrive to Canada as a visitor while super visa is in process, do medical checks in Canada and receive the visa in Canada?

It may be the time to stop this thread as most participants here are not in 2019 tracker.
