Hello friends, I had another quick question when we applied for our parents back in 2019 they were here with us in Canada, now their application is approved and the file has shifted to mississauga office, we are hoping to update their home address would anyone know the procedure to do this. Also on their file it says the medical cleared on Aug 8/2021 however we didn't do any medicals yet have any one seen this before?

Thank you

Hi guys
Received document request letter from CPC-Mississauga on Sep 08 2021.
After a preliminary review of your application the following has been deemed requierd:
1. Provide current address (no submissions date given)
2.Mom (main ap): Travel History(IMM5562), CV (submission date:2021/10/8)
3.Dad (Dep):CV, Military Record (IMM5546) (submission date:2021/10/8)
4.Ecase status for Main Applicant: line added; we started processing your application on Sep 8,2021
5.PCC was provided proactively on Feb 2020 before my parents leave their country and not requested another time yet
6.Med passed on Jun 17,2021
PLEASE SEE MY QUESTIONS Here and Provide your opinions:
1. Is it normal after 3 months from Med passed, they just started processing application? I was thinking they already started when they requested Med after sponsorship approval.
2.The letter said after a preliminary review of your application... is it normal? that means detailed review will start later ? should I expect another doc request or so
3. Do you think another PCC may requested later or usually should request by document letter request
4. thy don't ask travel history under my dad name, should I provide that or just provide what they requested.
5. My parent are residing here in Toronto since March2020 and they Just went to Germany to visit my Sis and had plan to come back on Sep23, my plan is to submit the requested document when they are here again and have their trip logged on travel history. As they just travel to Germany temporary for 7 weeks, I didn't change their address. Do you see a problem here ?

your time and thoughts on this would be appreciated.
thank you
I don't have an answer for your second question but

Regarding the Medical in my case was similar and I got medical request right after DM1 (in Jan. 2021) and LVO started processing my application and requested documents in May 2021. So that sounds normal to me!

Regarding PCC, I had also provided PCC proactively in Jan 2021 and they requested that again in June 2021. As far as I know medical and PCC are valid for a year but they still asked me again for new PCC.

The travel history form is a single form and has different sections starting with the main applicant and then asks about the dependents so there is no separate form to be filled for the dependents.

I have no idea about your last question :)

Hi,

Here is my two cents on this:
1. Don't worry about it. Was the same for me as well. I guess the process will be faster hereon.
2. Again, dont worry. I just checked and the same wording has been used for me as well.
3. Don't think so. Wasn't requested for me.
4. Same here. I think I didn't include. If you are unsure nothing wrong in including
5. Yes, there is often a deadline associated. For me it was about a month. It depends on when your deadline is and if your parents' return is before the date. It is more important to adhere to the deadline IMO.

-Question to the experts of this group

I believe I have received SA letter today which stats as follows
-You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for
Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to New Delhi for further processing. This
office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

My question is when my parents are here in Canada and already updated their address couple months ago via web form ( I have written confirmation email reply by CIC), Then why the hell would they send my file to New Delhi visa office? Parents have done Biometrics here in Canada, they can see that too probably. I don't understand their broken system, it's so frustrating, already been waiting for 27 months now . Can i ask them why would they transfer file to NDVO when parents physical address is here in Canada.

How's NDVO processing time?

I hope if someone can answer please. Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much, do you remember if they asked you to provide current address within additional document letter?
Also, if you need to provide military service form which form did you use? in the request letter asked to use IMM5546. but under the CIC account there is a Details of Military Service form uploaded (this one dost have IMM... number but is very similar to IMM5546, I am not sure which one should I use.
And in your case I can guess as your application transferred to local office the processing started later but I didn't expect to see this as the processing centre is still CPC-M.

Thanks for your answer, yes my parents will be here before the deadline. And I thought it better wait for them to arrive and include this trip in travel history.
By any chance do you remember if providing current address was asked on your request document letter?
I was wondering if this question will help them for their final decision and virtual landing ... or its just asked a general question within this letter

Yes, they did ask for their current address, with the word 'current' underlined. So they are definitely trying to see where they are currently situated. Since my parents were already in Canada, all their addresses reflected the same and I also added an address proof for them here. This helps you avoid getting a PPR -> raising a webform -> them verifying and sending you the portal email. I got the portal email directly. Probably at least saved a couple of weeks of processing time!

thank you again, yes for our case also the address in the file is Canadian address. Can you tell me how do you provide address proof, if I just write it down to in body of email that I am attaching the document would be enough or do you have another idea?

I actually mentioned it in the letter and also added my dad's Quebec driver's license.

They didn't ask for military service for my dad.
Not asking for current address. Just birth certificates (which I initially had submitted), PCC, and travel history.
BTW, I got medical request from Mississauga and then document request from Ankara.
Each visa office has its own way of processing and as far as I know Ankara does not ask for military service.

Use IRCC webform to inform about changed home address. If your parents have done IME for Supervisa, that may have been considered.

Hello Brother,
I'm sorry but I don't think anyone come here to take their frustration out in this group. I'm a long time member of this group and we all come n post here to get some kind of help or advise from someone rather than paying consultants. So why don't we just give them advise they are seeking here rather than complaining about their frustration. This forum is designed to help our members right?
If we have information then we try to help our fellow member, that's why we all are here to help each other. I'm sure everyone remembers there is no solution to their frustration on this forum regarding complaints to IRCC.

THANK YOU
