I called IRCC around Dec 10 to get an update of what's the status on reviewing the additional documents i sent to them at the end of November. The agent was so kind and told me the document already been reviewed on Dec 4, also VO sent a request on my behalf to Ottawa to extend medical result validity as it's expired in early Oct.

I called on Dec 24, and the agent was very kind also, told me Ottawa granted the medical result extension on Dec 10 for another year.
Dec 29, i saw an update in IRCC account that medical result status changed from "You don't need medical exam" to "You passed medical exam on Dec 29, 2020".

Dec 31, ECAS updated, both now are "Decision Made". i also called them, they confirmed the VO has made a decision, asking me to be patient as they are working through the backlog on sending out the letter.

Now we are just waiting for the CoPR i guess? My folks are both in Canada right now, i guess we won't get PPR?

Bumping this up to see if anyone has received any update from the London office since June. I don't see anything in the spreadsheet.
Last update we had was on Nov. 3, 2020, for SAM_2014(Line 352) he received medical forms;
Our case will hit 1 year "in process" mark on Jan,9th 2021, with no updates whatsoever.
I send web form multiple times, but got default answer "you case is in line for review ", this VO is a joke.

I want an advice. I got letter from London office in Oct that they received my sponsorship application and it is in process.
They have not yet asked for anything but I was thinking and wanted advice whether I should order a police clearance certificate now for my parents so I will be able to submit it right away when they ask for it. Is Pcc valid for 6 months only? What are your thoughts about this?

Starting January 7, 2021, air travellers 5 years of age or older will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada. See the news release for air travellers.

Wow that’s awesome. My parents just got asked to get medicals done again. Guess it expired from dec 2019 to Dec 2020. Their status was decision made months ago. Sucks they will have to go get medicals done all over again. Do you think it’s worth calling to see if they would extend it now that they’ve already emailed to get it re-done?
