I think COPR has to be issued before medical expiry and the landing process has to be completed. Haven't heard about anyone going for re-medical either.our medical will expire in 2 month![]()
hope so, but based on the tracker, this is not a case, there are a lot of people with expired medicalI think COPR has to be issued before medical expiry and the landing process has to be completed. Haven't heard about anyone going for re-medical either.
Have you called CIC about your parent's case. Better call once to know the situation. If you have not heard anything after AOR, it might be stuck due to some complication.Reposting this since it might have got lost in other posts, it would be great if you folks could provide your inputs on my queries please:
Hi Guys
I received the AOR in Dec '19 but the status still says "Application received". Is it just me or are there others in the same boat?
Also, if I want to get my parent here in the meanwhile, do I apply for a visitor visa or a Super Visa, someone told me that if parent's sponsorship application is in process you should apply for Super Visa, any inputs on this please.
Thank
I liked your view. One thing I will mention though is the processing time posted on the website is only for Complete, Regular applications and under normal circumstances. Given the pandemic, CIC can easily go beyond the processing times. Also, they have the option to say "your application was not a regular application". While I am eagerly waiting for updates this is just unfortunate that we don't have an option than waiting. Unless government rolls prioritize applications.Hi All, Many of us are waiting for the approvals for our P/GP approvals and will be wondering how do we know whether the IRCC is processing at a normal rate. I am providing two separate mathematical / statistical views. Apologies if you find it relevant or you find mistakes with my calculations.
It seems that around 600 people in this group are still waiting.
View 1 - All applications need to be cleared by June 2021 (based on 2 year time frame from the date of receipt of application in Ottawa)
No. of (approx.) working days left until June 2021 end = 140
No. of applications to be approved closed / day = 600/140 (4.3 applications / day)
View 2 - CIC maintains a constant backlog of 20,000 applications on an ongoing basis
No. of working days in a year - 240
No. of applications to be approved closed / day = 600/240 (2.5 applications / day)
So unless we see 2 to 4 applications approved everyday, CIC is not working at a normal processing rate.
Thank you, that seems to be my only option.Recommend IOM. Fast.
Good analysis from your point of view but I understand following:Hi All, Many of us are waiting for the approvals for our P/GP approvals and will be wondering how do we know whether the IRCC is processing at a normal rate.
