Hi there, hoping someone can help me. I am filling out the IMM0008 Dep form for my father who is the principal applicant. So for questions 10 I list my mother as his spouse and that she will accompany him for question 11 but I cannot find the key for question 12 - is she type A, B,or C? Has anyone else solved this? Apologies if it is really simple. I have looked through the guide and cannot find it.
Grateful for any advice!

Hello there,

I have couple questions. I'm applying for my dad only now, mom is still working and will come in years later. I include both of them in my sponsorship application.

Question 1:
I know my dad need to fill out form 0008,5406,5476,5669 now, does my mom still need to fill out 5406,5476,5669 form even she's not coming this time?

Question 2:
Should I just pay $1040 and $85 Biometrics Fees for my dad or I still need to pay another $1040 and 85 for my mom this time?

Thanks.

I've a Quick Question regarding Question# 14 in [IMM 5768] Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship.

Question:
Provide your employment history, including periods of unemployment for the last THREE
consecutive taxation years preceding your application. Make sure that you do not leave any gaps in
time.

1. What should we put in the "Gross Income/ Benefits for period" column ?
-- Does this mean Line-150 of NOA for years 2016+2017+2018 (Total of annual gross income of all 3 years)

2. What should we put in the "Family size" column ?
-- If I've a new born on 25 April 2019 should I include that in the count or no ?

Hi @caninfoseeker
Line 150 gives cumulative of all incomes from multiple companies (if you have worked in more than one company) including your business and rental incomes.
T4 is issued by each company showing annual earning for that year.

This is my way, but if you say Yes in Q14 of IMM5768, I think ICCR can figure out themselves.
Thanks @laksun for prompt reply. It means if a person has worked for one company during the year then line 150 is fine. If worked for more than one company then T4 will do. And yes for 01-01-2019 - to date only T4 will help.

Hi everyone, do we have to validate all the forms that have a "validate" button.
In form 0008, the section asking National Identity Document, the expiry date for both my parents are "permanent". So I put the word "none" in the expiry date, this prevents me from validating the form.
Will this be accepted at IRCC?

I am still not clear on this. I didn't find anywhere it says you can not apply one parent, as the entire thing is based on financial qualification. Besides, when one parent come here on Parents sponsorship program, they are dependent on us, so how can they apply/sponsor for other partner? Isn't the financial evaluation is for for us, the kis who want to apply for the parents to be with us in Canada. Again, I would appreciate if you can tell me where it says we have to apply for both parents, as in that case I will not spend time in applying at all this year.

Appreciate your time and help.
According to guide you should add all dependents, whether they are accompanying or no. The spouse is a dependent, even he/she is not coming to Canada. How you can exclude one parent? The only way not to mentioning him/her as dependent and in this case you will need a prove, divorce certificate or separation agreement.
