So there's no way my brother can come with my parents end of September?

Even though my MP emailed he was part of the application he will be fine.
Until the travel restriction/rules are loosened, your brother cannot come validate his COPR along with your parents at the same time. He could still come (as a visitor) but will not be able to complete his landing unless your parents have become PR first.

I'd suggest following the latest IRCC/CBSA guideline - at the end of the day MP isn't the immigration expert and has no jurisdiction on the border policy.

Hello Everyone..

I got a letter from CIC regarding following docs needed after 6 months of submitting all docs they woke up !

1. Death certificate - which was attached in original application
2. Biometrics letter - which was completed in Canada on Dec 4th 2019 - the biometrics number is there in her account -------- DO I do biometrics again

3. for me - my 5th class / middle standard/ matriculation needed for proof of relationship along with voter and aadhar card
( DO I send all of the docs ) mentioned above

Please give your suggestions esp for point 2 and point 3

Thanks

I hope we realize that Covid hit five months ago.

As for points 1 and 2, you should contact CIC and inform that the documents were submitted with the original application. Either they are not satisfied with the documents already submitted (I know another fellow member was requested a RCMP fingerprint even though he/she had already submitted) or they have made a mistake. That will answer your query.

For point 3, if I were you, I will send all the documents that I can gather with reasonable effort. If you do not have access to documents then you should work with the Indian High Commission and get a certificate stating the relationship proof. That should satisfy CIC.

However, you do need to understand their thinking - why the current information they have is insufficient proof of relationship?

I think some background information is missing that will explain the reason behind CIC's request.

Point 2: If you see biometrics number in MyCIC page, the massage may have sent by error.
If it is NDVO, they must have acknowledged receipt of your email. You can send email with that acknowledgement.

My parents completed landing a month ago and we re still waiting for their PR card to arrive.
How do we know where would PR card be delivered? Is there a way we can confirm this online?
Is there PR card tracking system?
Your parents are required to provide mailing address when they land at the airport, and that's the address they are sending PR cards to. As for the timeline, CIC website (which I recommend you visit to get information) states that it can take 128 days for new PR cards. So, you are well within that timeline. Besides, you don't really need PR card unless you want to travel and need PR card to re-enter Canada. I'd pay more attention to provincial healthcare and SIN number, as those are more of an immediate needs. I wouldn't sweat about PR cards.

Hi @YULIA-2016 @robertp:

As of the online account, here are additional details for updating the tracker.

Review of medical results: February 25, 2020, Passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: February 24, 2020, CIC is reviewing the additional documents I provided - IMM5562 and PCC
Invitation to Pre-arrival Services: June 23, 2020
Application for PR: In-process
New Delhi Visa Office

By quickly glancing at the tracker and forum, it appears a lot of folks are waiting to hear from NDVO. Have you noticed a similar pattern? Do you think inquiring about the application will make any difference?

There is some movement in NDVO even though slow due to COVID-19. Not sure how you can approach them.

I am not sure if you can get some written document from local municipality like Ward office.
Even if it can be Hindi or regional language, then you can translate that in official way.

Thanks... In these 6 months people did loose jobs...the service Canada or CIC had people onboard working.
How ever my point is on Dec 16th you had all docs sent ..the applicants history to Canada itself is 10 years and plus so yes as rational individual makes me raise a concern - wake up after so many months .
IRCC emailed all docs received to me.
Pffftt and relationship with applicant yes that is so weird to raise that question
Anyway I shall send all docs except biometrics as need to wait for their reply from IRCC

For relationship proof, I submitted an affidavit signed by my parents that I was their child and that my birth certificate didn't have their names. Submitted my pp page with bio info and my 10th school certificate that had my father's name.

Thank you...did they accept affidavit and other docs.

In the letter they say no affidavit.
I was thinking my passport copy which has her name and birth certificate which has her name
And submit schools certificate with aadhar card which has my father's name.
