I got pre-arrival before medical last week. Office was Vancouver too…but then they sent medical and police report about 12 hours later.

Yesterday, I received prearrival, medical and PCC request. Hopefully, it goes fast from here.

Hello, I checked Ecas and noticed that the status changed from Application received to in process. Not sure what this means, but this is the first progress I see since my file was transferred to Accra. Just wanted to give a glimpse of hope…at least Accra checked the application.

Yes we have many of us that our applications are awaiting review at the Accra visa office. They are definitely not doing anything and no one is helping out. MP and all….unfortunately

I am writing a letter to the minister (Sean Fraser) if all of us can send them an email. Something will be done

I think most people waiting here have passed the normal processing time including me. I sent Accra a message yesterday and will update you when I hear anything back.

Yes they are issuing a lot of PPR this week in general for other groups but I haven’t heard from the parent sponsorship. So I wonder if they are even thinking of processing our group

Accra just issued a lot of PPR and asked for additional documents. Anyone if you heard from Accra or May be they are not treating sponsorship application

Sorry to hear about your mum. What stage are you in the application process? For treatment, you will have to pay out of pocket. They wouldn’t cover if she doesn’t have her PR.
