If its possible to travel then we would surely travel before August. However, in case we are not able too, when would be the correct time to file for extension ? Also, what is the procedure i.e. medicals, stamping etc. ???
A few weeks before COPR expiry. As the extension get longer things like repeat medicals may be required but nobody knows.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum has any knowledge or experience for visa extensions (and if medicals or any other formalities had to be repeated for such cases) ??

We know lot of people might have to apply for extensions so just throwing it out there for anyone who can share some experience on this as this ll be helpful to be ready for steps that might need to repeated.

People haven’t needed to repeat medicals for COPRs that have expired recently and have been given 3 month extension.

Thank you, but do you still get request for PCC even when you proactively submit??
i receive a generic letter stating that if i havent submitted the following documents with my application, to please do so. I did receive my decision made for sponsorship approval within days of sending in the PCC and they acknowledged i sent it in.

Finally complete. Due to Covid-19, PPR stage bypassed, in Canada PA’s go to COPR. Mailing off today for PR Card. Just a note, have been waiting for PPR for nearly 3 months, 1 month before Covid. Sent webform 1 week ago.
Big thank you to all who have contributed on this journey & a big thank @robertp for helping out on the Quebec forum. Good luck to all.

Congrats and end of a long wait.
What did you mention in web form communication .
We got out counter foil number allocated last week but yet to receive passport or any other document.
Should we follow up ?
I had sent the passport on March 17.

regards

Webform I mention the timelines before covid & at what stage we were at.
Due to covid wait for them to return back to work & complete your process.
