There is option to click unknown in the form. CIC is aware about this already which is why they have added unknown option. Most old people will not be aware about parents birth dates and more details.
Well Unkown option is only if you do not know your parents at all just FYI

Who should sign the dependants' forms? dependants themselves or the principal applicant?

Thank you so much ! I thought I missed the dependent section in EOI. I am glad I can add with the application :)
I have faint memory that they asked about dependents in eoi form by asking these questions
1. How many members in your family
2. How many you intend to sponsor
Some other sharp members may also confirm this???

I think we are listing one year per line, even if it's same company
2019-01-01 ~ Present
2018-01-01 ~ 2018-12-31
2017-01-01 ~ 2017-12-31
2016-01-01 ~ 2016-12-31

cuz they need to see how much you made PER year, not total 3 years.

Anyone know if I switched the job in the middle of the year, do I split a year into two lines?
I think you can ..This is how the format is. Even unemployed periods need to be mentioned

If you need more space for any section, print out an additional page containing the appropriate section, complete it and submit it along with your application.

Blank page or the same form?

#1 yes. It will be processed in Canada.
#2 I think they can’t give biometric in Canada. May have to goto US or any other country but I am not sure.
#3 yes and if possible ask your mom to get a affidavit from India.
thanks Vivek

Blank page. But if you need more space in a table in origin al form then create a table in the additional page. No specific format.

Also, don't forget to mention that you have additional page for so and so form in your explanation letter.

Looks like lots of your proof documents are not even required or needed by CIC as per their checklist but it never hurts. I don't think University educations certificates, Resume, Service tax registration, Tax statements last 10 years, Aadhar Card etc are even required at all. I am not including any one of the above documents at all. Always go with what has been asked from my point of view. Sometimes too much unnecessary information can cause confusion too.
I agree.
Its better not to irritate Case Processing Officer with unnecessary docs. Just send the docs required in the checklist and if you are not able to provide that docs, support this with explanation letter and some other proofs..

cheers

Hi experts,
1.do we have to get translation of birth certificate and other documents here in Canada or we can get translated document from back home? because it is written " Translations must be done by a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada who is fluent in both languages" in the guide
1. In the application to sponsor (form 1344), what would you answer for the first question..i mean would you check the box to withdraw your sponsorship application or proceed with application if you don't meet the sponsorship requirements
thanks

1.You can translate in your country and notarized it.
2. I checked the box “withdraw my sponsorship application”. Like I understood they will return your money if you are not eligible
