Data point: I was short for my 3rd year (my DH was off work for cancer and I also took a one year Leave of Absence to care for him) so I ended up liquidating a chunk of my RRSPs to make up the difference for Line 150. I did not provide them our SIN numbers so they did not have access to all our tax forms. I was pretty nervous as we were asked to send additional documents showing income and the forms we sent clearly showed lower employment income and that we made up the difference with our RRSP withdrawals. Thankfully, a few weeks ago, I got an email stating that I have met the requirements to be eligible to sponsor and my mother's case was forwarded to her local visa office (Singapore) even though she is currently with us in Canada on a supervisa.
Did u receive AOR from Sing? And IEM??

The only options are an appointment at Harry Hays which can take up to a month to come through, taking a flight out if the country and landing on return or a drive to the border. We flagpoled at Coutts it was very quick and easy, 2 hours 45 mins each way from Calgary. We stopped at Lethbridge for breakfast on the way there which broke up the journey.
Did you drive them through Coutts? My parents cannot drive, what do we say when I reach the border on the US side , we want to flagpole? And will I too get the yellow paper? I hold Canadian passport

Did you check in myCIC any letter?
what is your medical passed date as per myCIC?
What is your PCC request date ?
I used a representative that is why I can't link my application to MyCiC and can't see any update. Only I can see is ECas. To enable MyCiC, we need to cancel the use of representative. That is why I need to wait for this letter which is quoted in ECas. Last medical with additional tests and after wait of 3 months was submitted on Dec 16 and nothing after that. No PCC request explicitly received.

I doubt it (unless anyone has actual experience with this with their parents/ grandparents).
Reason I say this is, as someone who wears hearing aids myself, the max exposure to the health system is a) cost of hearing aids (govt pays $500 every 3 years), + b) doctor's consultation fees (covered by OHIP), again every 3 years.
These costs would be way below the threshold of I think $20,000 that they use to assess if immigrants would be a burden to the heath system or not.
Note, the better types of hearing aid (less visible) cost up to $1,500 each.
I am the principal applicant and had a medical in January. I wore my hearing aids (both ears) and the doctor was aware of this. It was absolutely not an issue. Hope this helps.
