No need to visit/contact VFS for Medical.

How can we book appointment for medicals in Ahmedabad, India? Do we have to go through VFS or I have to call KD hospital/apollo hospital directly myself? Any good doctors suggestions from either hospitals? Thanks

They will not ask for country specific PCC and it's upto you to determine which one you have to submit.

For non-continuous travel totaling over 6 months over 10 yrs, I wouldn't bother to send the PCC

Hi Robert, we called CIC this morning and apparently on her end our file is still at CPC Mississauga and has not been transferred. She says that everything looks good, no notes for anything in particular, and that background check is still in process.

I got it done in Calgary, $225 for medical exam at doctor’s office, $40 for x-rays, and tomorrow we have appointment for blood work which I expect to be $40-$60. So the total cost would be between $300-$320

In India, it costs approx CAD 100.

I got PPR for my parents yesterday around 4 pm. The visa office was CPC-Mississauga.
Line # in tracker: 245

They mentioned in the letter to submit passports to VFS in India.
But if the applicant and all dependents are currently in Canada and planning to stay for 3 months, then we can submit passports to Ottawa.

Probably not! My application reached Sydney on the 29th of May and my application changed to "in process" in the beginning of this month as well.

You should mention ur date of original submission and completion of 9 months, and ask about updates.

As per their statement they said if u dont receive any communication in 9 months from date of submission, u should contact and ask them about updates.
