Pub Pol = Public Policy. There is a temporary exemption for people in-Canada for Biometrics. My dad came on March 19, 2019 on visitor visa for 5 months and he visited us for 2.5 months in 2016 (that's when he did his biometrics). and as per GCMS notes, CO exempted biometrics for my dad.
this is what's mentioned in GCMS notes.
BIOMETRICS
IRCC #
ASSESSMENT: Exempt - Pub Pol (In-Canada)
Now I don't know what does pub pol means?
to my understanding, it totally depends on CO
Pub Pol is public policy. I was told by an IRCC agent that people who are in Canada will be exempted through this policy, as there is no collection centre in Canada. However, we have seen various cases in which they still require biometrics, so I am not sure what the criteria for exemption is...My dad came on March 19, 2019 on visitor visa for 5 months and he visited us for 2.5 months in 2016 (that's when he did his biometrics). and as per GCMS notes, CO exempted biometrics for my dad.

We have same exemption & what do you mean by temporary? Can LVO request Biometric at later stage ? We already received SA, PCC & ADR request but no BiometricsPub Pol = Public Policy. There is a temporary exemption for people in-Canada for Biometrics.

They put the reason what you put while applying for the PCC. I don't think it will be an issue if you submit this one as long as it says for Canada. You should have said immigration purpose other than citizenship.I received the PCC from Indian consulate for my dad today they made a mistake on it. Instead of putting the reason “Resident Permit” they issued it for work permit/Employment Visa. Should I just submit it or get it fixed first? any body had the similar experience?
Just a generic message. I got same 3 months ago and didn't submit anything! Still got PCC, bio and medical!I guess every received AOR recently getting the similar email details about Important information about using a representative:
I am not sure whether it is a document request (IMM5476) or just a generic message!
I am at the same boat, My parents don’t have birth certificate, Affidavit, and school certificates. All i have is Voter card and Aadhar card.
My question is since they are here in Canada from almost 2 years can i make the affidavit here and would it be valid? Or can i just submit Voter card and Aadhar card?
Does IRCC accepts the “certificate of birth” from consulate?I am not sure if someone replied to this. I was in the same boat. I went to BLS Toronto and applied for birth certificate based on the passport.
