@robertp

I likned my application on 25th Septmber, 2019.
Tracker Line# 463

I wasn't sure if this is an update which i need to share here.

Hi,

I tried linking my application. Was unsuccessful.
Can you please guide us what information did you use to link the application. It be helpfull.

Thanks

1)After you login to MyCIC, you click on Link App to this Account button. Choose Permanent Residence in category and Family Class (Parents & Grandparents) in sub-category. This will open all the required fields you will need to fill up.
2) In the passport section, enter the info as seen in the originally sent passport of PA. you can use passport # and date or place.
3) Match the city and province name you entered in the original application.
4) count # of Family member = [ Sponsor + if Cosigner ] no kids + [PA + if Dep] (do not count any sponsor side kids)
5) open link to see more details. How to Link?
that is exactly what i did, it is showing app already linked to my account, but when I go to my application, nothing shows there. I reported this technical problem and got an email saying problem solved , clear cachet an relink. However, still showing same message.
I tried using my account, applicant's cic account, all showing same message.

I just discovered this site, it's awesome.

Adding my details as well:

Hi @YULIA-2016,

Please update the spreadsheet,

username : pavion
Sponsored : Parents
Parents Country of Citizenship : India
Parents Country of Residence: Singapore
Province : BC
Invitation Received Date : April 26
Application Send to Ottawa : May 28
Application Received at Ottawa : May 30

Thank you!

Is it normal to not have had the AOR yet? Even though it seems like people who had their applications received after my date have already started getting their AOR.

I called up CIC, but they are not sharing any information, except that they have received the file, and if there is anything they need, the CIC will email them (the email address they have is correct as we verified that on the call as well)

This is very odd not to have the AoR yet.

- Are you the rep?
- Did you try the ecas? Linking the app in mycic?

I simply used my father (PA) UCI and Passport information
Then you provide the province and city they intended to live (according to file)
Then number of family members I included Sponsor+PA+Dependent

And it worked for me.

Nope, this is for my parents.

It seems like I need the application number to link the app? Otherwise, the primary applicant has a middle name, and I'm not sure how the system would ask for it. I tried multiple combinations, but couldn't get the right combination I think

As you are not the rep, they will not disclose anything to you. Many people had similar problem, I would recommend to send the rep form via webform.

Try the ecas from the below link with your old or their old UCI#. You only need the surname.
