Anyone here received any further updates regarding PCC from CPC-M ?.
It seems other local VO's are faster processing (like ND and HK) as they are requesting PCC early enough.

CPC-M very quiet regarding PCC requests.
Did anyone try to contact them via webform/email/call about this?

I ordered GCMS and the notes came last Friday. There is no problem with my case. It says my case has met the sponsorship requirement and has been waiting for the visa officer for the final review since June. It looks like that nobody has touched my case since July 11, which is AOR date.
Hi there!
On your GCMS notes do you see anything about "pre-assessment"?

why would you contact them 5 months into a 20 to 24 months process ? It doesn't seem slow, it is what it is, there's 27000 applications being processed and about 3 on this forum have already completed, that's not a trend, it's an irregularity

Comparing to other LVO, CPC M PCC is not only slow, it nonexisting. After 30 days someone passed IME, there should not be any reason why LVO would not request PCC.

Yes, there is a reason: 27000 applications and if we follow the tracker, around 80% are going to CPC M.....
Oh by the way, totally unrelated (but maybe interesting), when I sponsored my wife, the medicals were requested in February and she got PPR in June, so this is not immediate as you seem to be thinking
My file was transferred to the LVO a month ago and I haven't received a whiff of information, the application reverted to "application received" and hasn't gone back to "in process". It is what it is and I know it is a long process

Have Patience People. CPC-M is a professional organization. People don't realize, there might be thousands of reasons for any type of delays.
Based on my understanding (I might be wrong)- majority of the PCCs go before medicals. So if you have not received the PCC request but have passed the medicals- it might simply mean that they won't be requesting PCC. Before they make decision, there are hundreds of other factors that they need to consider. So have some patience. Give them at least 3-4 months but then even if you still would like panicking out, go ahead. None can stop, its in your hands :)

There are other issues around this. It was reported already that for many applicants, whose parents do not live here, and yet the file assigned to CPC M. It makes zero sense! The file supposedly assigned by the applicant's home country. If CPC M is bogged down, it's their doing.

I would echo, what @NirCHa and @diegosolano have just said about CPC-M. We are here may be roughly 10 years in Canada and getting an opportunity to sponsor our parents, which way better than many other nations.
Giving the immigration dept sometime to process the workpaper makes total sense, by calling them doesnt make your application move faster.

Additionally, compared to the call centre facility back in 2012, they have improved by light years.

Hello guys, I received biometrics request for only my father. My mom is dependent and she came here in canada last year on supervisa, no biometrics request for mother. I'm confiused please ans.

No need to worry. For your mother they already have the biometrics as they r valid for 10 years. Happened with me also that they have the biometrics for my parents already
