Hey, I'll appreciate an advice.

If my Mom lives here for 1year+ on parents visa and planning to live during the next 2 years.

What should I put as her home address:
1. Canadian address?
2. Luxemburg (as a home address)?

Any link to the government site?

Thanks!
I have the same questions

Can anyone tell if in IMM5406e Additional Family Information, do we need to write names in English and Native language? If yes, should they be beside each other?

Also in case where DOB is unknown, like I don't know the DOB of my grandparents and they're deceased...can I write Unknown under it?

Can anyone please tell me

1) If national identification document doesn't have expiry date , then what should i put in the expiry date section of the form?
2) If the additional family information form doesn't have space , should i fill out another form with all the information again?
3) Additional family information is asking for names in native language also , again i have to use another form for writing it in native language?

Please reply

I am still worried about family unit. What should we put there? If I was wrong we they refuse the application?

Tips to avoid delays or problem with PGP application:

  • Photos must be taken from a COMMERCIAL studio and must have all the details required at the back of photos. Photo self printed will not be accepted and will be returned.
  • Photoshopped photos will not be accepted
  • Any modification even if minor will results in rejection
  • Photo must have white background and without any gloss, face must be center, no smiling or open mouth
  • Photo cannot have face bigger than 26mm or less than 21mm from chin to crown, if not fit it will be returned
  • Non English copies of documents must be translated into English or French by a certified translator or by anyone who know the language BUT must accompany by an affidavit for oath from a commissioner of oath or a notary public.
  • Non English Documents must be certified true copy by a notary public
  • Place the bar codes pages after the invitation letter but before the check list
  • Spouse must sign application if applicable
  • DO NOT STAPLE, they will scan documents by machine, staple it will delay the process and likely put you at the back of the stack
  • WRITE IN BLACK INK, no BLUE INK, it is stated in the reference guide
  • DO NOT include police certificates or any other non required documents
  • You can include tax information such as Option C print out even if click YES to give IRCC authorization to access your tax information BUT it must be at the bottom of the stack separate completely from the main form
  • Signature from Parents MUST be real signature from them, faked signature resulted in refusal of application altogether
  • Make sure you read the guide and double check every single details, a lot of details can be easily overlooked and IRCC only acknowledge the application in 2-3 months so you will not have time to resubmit if it is returned
  • This is a GOLDEN, DIAMOND or whatever most precious opportunity for family to reunite, do not waste a spot by careless mistake!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Thanks for this informative list. I have a quick question on translation. I got my birth certificate translated in Canada by a certified translator (ATIO) and got the certified true copy of birth certificate but the translator didn't provide any affidavit. As per the guide also, it says affidavit is not required for certified translators

Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a person authorized to administer oaths in the country where the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified in Canada don’t need to supply an affidavit.

I just wanted to check if anyone else is using translator services in Canada and not getting any affidavit?

It is weird that there is no affidavit, my translator put an affidavit that the copy is translated true and correct to the original and it is certified by another commissioner for oath to certify her signature, she also stamped on both copies, I also have a notarized certified true copy of the original doc

I am in the list - it seems - but the link on ur signature doesn't show me the invitation times/dates. Maybe I am looking at an old spreadsheet?
https://docs.zoho.com/sheet/published.do?rid=cfntzbbc77dd78eca46fba3aab34f3fd263dc
Anyway... my info:
Interest Form: 12:04 EST
Confirmation Email: 12:29 EST
Invitation Email Date and Time: Apr 24, 2019 12:26 EDT
Application Received by CIC:
There's just one sheet, and I now added invitation time for you. Maybe you previously posted it in the 80 pages that I'm not going through them guessing and converting time zones, changing formats and all that. That's why I asked to use this specific template and make sure I get a notification.
