Just to remind you guys the excel sheet that we are following has only 446 applicants. So basically there are still 26000 something applicants out there who are not on this forum. Just imagine the workload on IRCC with 26000+ application. We can't just predict, assume, guess or get upset comparing just few application within the spreadsheet. There's a whole lot out of this forum and the way this year processing is going on I give kudos to CIC personnel's. Especially you might have noticed that there is not a single complaint from any one yet for unanswered calls to CIC. Everyone is getting responses over the phone.
Remember the people who were the most impatient before the invitation are the loosers right now. Hold your nerve and everyone will win. Good luck to everyone.

I have a feeling that the first batch that submitted will have their PPR soon, then their parents will be here already before CIC opens all application package of batch May 16 onwards. It seems like they won't move forward until first batch is completely done. The application received, aor, SA, bio, medical only stays in that group's circle. Just my observation, I may be wrong.

And I agreed with you.

Hi, In MyCIC account, background check changed to below. It was "Not Applicable" before. Still waiting for DM on sponsor side and any other communication.

Background checkHelp - Background check
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check
thanks....
Mine was different, it was before Background checkHelp - Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
2-3 weeks ago it changed to "Not Applicable". So there can be different statuses, and maybe who has "Not Applicable status, means that background check was done already.

Hi I have a question, on which email they will send the AOR?

1) The email used to submit EOI
2) The email address sponsor used in IM1344 (Application to sponsor/ sponsor ship agreement and undertaking)
3) The email address of PA (Parents)

Thanks,

SJ
most of all provide same email for point 1 and 2. what i think IMM1344 email using for AoR. all applicant want to match same info in EOI , Invitation email and Application form.
Point 3 = NO

@desmonddoss , Whats the definition of the first batch ? Is it applications received upto 15th May

I feel IRCC is processing at a lightening speed and all Kudos to them! The average time has considerably slowed down as they receive more applications which is fair and expected. For e.g applicants in April end/1st week of May had faster updates compared to week of May 6th. For rest, the updates will be more slower which is already evident.

first few week is busy week for CIC. more application received in first 3-4 week. rest have less volume compare with first few week.

Appl. received in Ottawa per week
Week #17 = 10 (2.2%)
Week #18 = 71 (15.9%)
Week #19 = 65 (14.6%)
Week #20 = 59 (13.2%)
Week #21 = 47 (10.5%)
Week #22 = 44 (9.9%)
Week #23 = 45 (10.1%)
Week #24 = 42 (9.4%)
Week #25 = 42 (9.4%)
Week #26 = 21 (4.9%)

We have got AOR today.
ECAS status is also available as of today.
But we are having difficulty linking our application. Can anyone please help with the last question where it asks for the number of people involved in this application? In our case my wife sponsored her mother and I co signed the application. Thanks.
Your number should be 3

I really think it's going to be slow for applicants in the mid to end of may range, this is where in my opinion most of the applications are, not early and not late to the 28th of june deadline

Hi everyone. I got the AOR/File # on July 11th and ECAS shows in process for sponsor and applicant and it also says "We sent you correspondence on July 16, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible". However I have not got any email for document request. I cannot link the application to my CIC account. I tried with file number and last name, file number and UCI number and then passport info or city/country of birth and I put 2 for number of people in the application (my mom and dad) but it says "Based on the information you entered, we found no applications.". Can someone please help me with linking the application to myCIC?

Are you in the tracker? When was your app recvd?

hello Experts!!

My Situation:

Sponsorship application received on June 6th (Dad & Mom) , Application has Ontario Address for sponsor and India address for Parents..

I have moved to BC last month and still waiting for AOR. i have updated IRCC about my new address as my Citizenship App is also in process..

My parents are now in BC with me as visitors.... i paid Bio Metric fees with the application fees... i checked with IRCC call centre and there are no notes of app number / file being sent back etc etc;... keeping fingers crossed for AOR... @Yulia can you update the tracker line 334 for BC as intended province...

anyone can suggest if the application "can" be returned due to change of Intended Province to reside? originally it has been mentioned as ON now i am in BC so they will live with me here...Thank you in advance for your time..
