Surprisingly, they have not started the background check... I dont know why it is taking too long.

Hello @YULIA-2016 : Could you please update sheet with this information.

- Received E-mail from CIC for updated Scheduled - A , Signed with Hand ( Initially Signed Electronically) on Oct/15.
- Sent document via E-mail as scanned copy on Oct/30.
- ecas status is still not available.

Question to other member -

- Is there a way to follow up and ensure updated document is well received and now put into file.
- Usually how much time CIC takes to update your file with additional requested document.

Please advise.

Got Medical Request and to Pay for Biometrics. I have a question regarding Biometrics.
My mum is in Canada since 2015 and she did her Biometrics when she came in. Even at CIC online account, her biometrics no and validity is showed till 2025/ In the letter, they just asked us to pay the fees and they will notify ius when and how to do the biometrics. My question is that, as they are taking biometrics fees, if they ask to do biometeics , can my mum do it within Canada as she is already in Canada? Also as her biometrics is still showed valid till 2025, whats the purpose of redoing or they just wanted to pay me the fees but not required to do the biometrics. Please share your experience and advise.

Hi, same with me, I got a letter requesting biometrics for my mother who I am sponsoring. We already payed for & completed biometrics for her TRV earlier this year, now she is in Canada for vacation. The biometrics are still valid. I contacted the call center and they said to raise a case specific form and include the previous biometrics number.

Hi, May i know how you are able to contact CIC agent? i tried with different options to get in contact with agent...but all CI number options are leading to atutomatic replies only...

can u help pls?
