Hi I applied to sponsor my mom in May 2018,
she got the medical request last April, nothing since then,
I tried to create an online account for her and link the application using GCKey many times but always says it can't find the application. any similar experience?

you will have to play with the family member numbers you are entering there.. I had similar issue and by changing the number of family members, I was able to link my application.

Hello All,

I have received a message from CIC London asking me for the below information. This came in after medical and Police Certificate.
Curious if anyone came across this? Did you submit detailed information regarding company / Father's designation (his business tours info, contracts etc) or just a simply reply is sufficient? Please let me know..


"Please provide additional information regarding tour career as a businessman/managing partner of "Company name". This information should include what the company does, and what your role is. This must be received at this office by: 2019/08/03"

did you recieved 2nd Aor from London after SA?. i got SA already aand letter says you file will be transferred to London for further processing. Do we get notified when it actually transfers to London?

Yes, I got an email confirmation stating my application was approved and is getting transferred to LVO for further processing.

Ops.. sorry, misunderstood! No, I did not received the 2nd email. I was able to see this through my online tool that SA and then the 2nd tab had my application in process.

Please update line 256 (2018 tab). I have received PCC and travel document request on July 5th,2019.

Message as below.
Police Certificate: Please provide an original police clearance certificate from
India. This must be received at this office by: 2019/08/04

IMM5562: Please provide information on your previous travel history (trip
duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information. Please provide a completed IMM5562 - Supplementary Information – Your Travels form.
This must be received at this office by: 2019/08/01

Please advise, in the letter they mentioned to send original PCC to mississauga office. and also at the bottom of the letter they have mentioned
"For faster services, please submit your documents through email".

if we send scanned copies through email, we dont need to send originals through MAIL??

Hi has anyone else been asked for finger prints to submit to the RCMP for processing, i don't understand what we do after we have the finger prints done, do we wait for the police check and sent that to London or do we send the finger prints to London and then they submit for a police check

How do we send the documents to London, can it be done via the website, or do we email them or post them ? I don't want to mess this up at this stage , please help .

Physical copies of PCC delivered on June 14.
Passport request received on June 26.
Passports submitted via VFS on July 3.

One question, will they send the passport back with visa and the COPR, or will my parents get the COPR when they land?

Hi Yulia, please update line 104, we received PCC and pre arrival services on July 05. I made a mistake, we didn't get a bio-metrics request its just finger prints for RCMP police check. Thank you

If you have linked your application to CIC account and you have the option to attach the documents (under upload documents Tab), then this can be submitted electronically. I Submitted my PCC through CIC account.

If they have specifically asked to send original documents, then you will be required to send the originals via Mail.
