Have anyone linked their application to online account? Should it be possible right after receiving AOR or at later stage? The questions there are confusing. I guess we have to select "Permanent residence-> Family class(Parents and grandparents), and then fill the information for the sponsored person? It is also asking for number of family members. Should it be the same number as in sponsorship application (Sponsor family + sponsored family), or just the sponsored number (2 for parents)?

I tried to add mine into the doc, but seems I don't have the authority to modify the file.

Don’t wait for email, some people never get email. Check https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do using your own UCI. It might be decision made already.

For linking application use file number, main applicant's (Father) info and number of persons in total (sponsor + co-sponsor + main applicant + main applicant's spouse + grandkid)

That's confusing. So if, on the sponsorship application there were 6 people - Sponsor+Co-sponsor+2 kids + 2 sponsored parents, then when linking application it should be only 4? The above minus kids?

That suggestion was extracted from a post shared by a sponsor who was able to successfully link his application. But i will note down your comments too

My app was received on 8th may but nthng yet. Hope end of ths week or nxt week

Mine was also received on 08 May 2018, no email or AOR

Add me as another sponsor successfully used it (I mean excluding the kids)

Try sponsor family excluding baby and then add principal applicant.

Yeah, excluding children worked. I wonder what is the logic behind it.
