Mine was delivered on May 17 as well but I can't find it on ECAS. What information you used to look up your application?

use all yours:
UCI or receipt #
when you get SA you can enter Applicant info

April 30 - Application received
June 20- They sent me a letter but I didn't receive it because they sent it to the wrong email
July 10 - I got the letter asking to re do the IMM 0008
July 16 - the form was delivered to Ottawa
July 23 - I got a letter saying my application was accepted to 2018 PGP intake
July 25 - Finally I was able to link my application and it says your application is in progree

No other email or message so far ..

I have a question my parents stayed here in Canada for 2 years are they are going home next month do you think I will need police certificate from Canada aside from our home country?

Hi all,

Just a quick question to everyone who had successfully linked to your application.

I was trying to link my application for few days (received AOR on last week), and kept trying to link my mom's application with her passport number.
However, with the passport number it kept failing, so I tried with multiple combination, and finally got it through with her place of birth.

Just out of curiosity, is it something that I need to concern? I double checked the application that I sent, I did enter the matching passport number, but was not able to find/link the application.

How did you guys link the application? using passport or place of birth?

Please advise.

I have been trying to link application for my parents for a while. I do have a file number. so I have been using file number and family name option and then passport info but its not working. I will try with place of birth. is there any other pointer you would like to give me so I can link it too. I do have a co sponser ( wife) and i am sponsoring mom and dad and I have two kids. any help is much appreciated.

Try entering "4" for "Number of people on this application".

Can someone please explain me the process to link the application.

To my understanding in order to create CIC account you need 2 things
1)Sign-in Partner - banking information
2)GC Key - provided to you by government

My parents do not have any bank account in Canada. It means i need to ask for GC key from Canadian govt to create an then link their account ?
M i thinking correctly ?

What are the next steps, if they approve the sponsorship eligibility ?
How long does it take to receive the request for PCC and medicals ?

YULIA-2016 - To my understanding if your parents stayed more than 6 months in any country, they need Police Clearance from that country. But again it could depend on country to country.

CIC is care about full police history, not just last 2 years so sure you need PCC from back home country and all countries where they live 6+ mon

I tried 2 options and both are working for me:
1. My UCI# and my dob etc.
2. Receipt # and my father dob

It all depends how many applications they received on May 17th so may be you will see something very soon.

As you know most of the info provided by the group members is only best to their knowledge and some of the info we gather while going through this forum.
The best way to confirm this is to call the immigration and have some patience to wait for around 45 min while you are doing other stuff.
They will be the best resource.

It's AOR likely. If your ECAS (under 'Sponsorship Application Status') says "Application Received", it's AOR. If it says "Decision Made", it's SA.
