I called CIC and checked the status of my parents application. The agent told me that their medical has been updated to " Medical Passed " and now doing a background check. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 renal cancer last September 2017, and she needs to undergo surgery to remove her left kidney. After her surgery she's fully recovered and the doctor declared her cancer free. This is the best Christmas gift that I ever received.

Hi All,

I recently got a passport request for my parents sponsorship application. Currently my father is working in Vietnam and mother is in India.

What options do I have to send passport to New Delhi VO?

1) Should I have my Father send his passport via VFS Vietnam and Mother via VFS Delhi? Will there be any issues if passports are sent separately?
2) Should I have my Father mail his passport to India and then send both passports together to via VFS Delhi?

Does anyone have any advise? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is there anybody who's file was transferred from Ottawa to Delhi after medicals passed. if so what has been the timeline to get an update from Delhi. Can you please share your experience.

Just a question. My parents mailed the whole package(medical proof,PCC,travel history form,schedulaA form etc) to Visa office London.which has been received (on DHL tracking).
On my father online account ,same documents have been asked to upload. Is it necessary to upload them as I dont have copies of all those forms.and since it's been physically mailed to Visa office. Please guide.

So here is my situation, my mother in law Permanent Residence status changed to decision made around Nov 26 2018. To this date w have not received any communication requesting her passport or anything of that sort. Visa is being processed in Delhi. Anyone else have the same experience.
