Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2017

hi everyone, we sent my parents passport to ottawa on Dec 6, it was recieved on Dec 7 and at the same day,the return prepaid envelope was activated,however unt now it did not arrive and the tracking has no information, it only says delivery may be delayed due to labour disruption. any experience with the passports back from ottawa how long did it take? we were hoping to exit the border this weekend but we have no idea when to get the passports back...

Aug 4,2017 - Sponsorship approval
Nov 10,2017 - sent a request to add my sister as a dependent child of my parents due to the temporary public policy of dependents ages 22 below
March 8, 2018 - medical requests
March 9, 2018 - Police Clearance, Birth Certificates requests including forms to be completed by the added dependent child
March 12, 2018 - request to submit amended forms to include my sister as a dependent child, original forms signed by my sister and amended sponsorship undertaking form for sponsorship eligiblity reassessment
March 16- parents’ medicals done but doctor was away the next day and sent the results on Apr 17 to immigration
March 23,2018 - my sister’s upfront medical was done as immigration requested proof of medicals done of the added dependent child
March 24, 2018 - mailed all the amended forms and proof of medicals done by the dependent child
April 9, 2018 - received confirmation that sponsorhip eligibility is still met
April 13, 2018 - submitted birth certificates and police clearance. Took long to get my parent’s police clearance back home ( Philippines) due to holy week holidays and mail turnaround times
April 19, 2018 medical passed, saw this on ATIP notes but online got updated to passednob July 11,2018

my sister just sent her passport to VAC last tuesday, Dec11 in the Philippines, she was an added dependent,so I think until they stamp her visa too,that’s the time the online account status will change go approved..

Just a question. My parents mailed the whole package(medical proof,PCC,travel history form,schedulaA form etc) to Visa office London.which has been received (on DHL tracking).
On my father online account ,same documents have been asked to upload. Is it necessary to upload them as I dont have copies of all those forms.and since it's been physically mailed to Visa office. Please guide.

My parents received their passports back with visa on 12-14-2018. Now waiting for their arrival in Canada as Permanent Residents.
Just wanted to say thank you to all for sharing info and best wishes to the ones that are waiting.

decision made on ecas : Dec 7th,
PPR : Dec 10th

Crossing fingers for COPR (based on other comments from same VO, that should be straight forward)

Nothing change on cic account, still "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

We were also asked to submit Schedule A since the age of 18 year so we submitted details since the age of 18 year for question 6 and 10.

You probably mean questions 7, 8 or some other question number as 6 is simple Yes or No on the new forms: IMM 5669e
