Absolutely, I'm not taking any risk. if I don't get an answer from the embassy then I'm canceling the trip and sending original passports, tickets aren't refundable unfortunately but oh well, what can I do. nice meeting you over the forum

by the way, not sure if you will have an answer to this question, the immigration office asked for a police report with translation, do you know if they would need this translation notarized?

I don't know really.....l didn't reach that step yet ! But l think if they want it notarized, they should tell.
Did you go in the procedure of PR by yourself online or did your parents do at Visa Office in person?

Not sure what you mean, but my parents didn't go to the embassy nor were they requested to meet with an officer. I did everything online so far.

I was checking my online application status & it have changed from Application received to In process. I haven't recieve any email yet regarding sponsorship approval. But I got the AOR on Jan 9th. I am unable to link the application as it was filed by my consultant.

Any idea what's going on?

Translated documents should be notarized to avoid unnecessary processing delays.

Just wanted to advise that we received today 04/17 (email 17:44 ET) the medical examination and police certificates request.

Our file was transfered to México on Aug 2017.
