No. Leave it blank, they will be issued one after your apply.

Hi, where do you see the message? mine is not showing ANY progress at all in My CIC Account. Can you please show a screen shot of yours look like?

Here is mine and it does not say ANYTHING where the application is and what is done to it even though it was Approved and sent to embassy. Where does everyone see the updates?:

You will see it right there under Application/profile details. If you provided an email address, you will get an email whenever an update is available. Once that happens, login to your CIC profile and the status would've been updated.

GCMS notes provide details about what's been done on your application so far. It's a detailed version of what's happening with application processing and might come in handy if you suspect delays and need to know the reason. Check out this link:

It is not there as you can see. I have received emails telling me it's sent to embassy and it's approved. Why doesn't that show in the picture??????

There's no specific update on IRCC profile for 'file sent to embassy'. Next update would be when they request IME and PCC.

***I read few times on the forum that My CIC account show quiet a bit of information.
