Iam a mother of 3, ages 5, 3 and 2. I have my parents here for 4 yrs. now as super visa. I am a only daughter and want to sponsor my parents this 2018. My concerns are the ff:

* im a bit confused on how to count our household members because my parents are here in Canada lives with us. We are 7 total in the house.

*is the total minimum income refers to line 150 in NOA for 3 consecutive years?

* can my parents extend/renew their Super Visa inside Canada?

Hope someone can give me clarifications on these.

It's a big help.

If it's you + spouse + 3 kids + 2 parents being sponsored, your family size is 7. It doesn't matter if parents are living in Canada or elsewhere, they are always included in your family size.

This means you and your spouse (assuming he will be a co-signer) need to have tax returns totaling approx $81-$83K combined, for past 3 years. This may be going back to 2014 or 2015, depending what the rules will be for 2018 sponsorship.

Only if you meet the income requirements, can you then put in a lottery submission in January 2018.

Yes you can apply to extend their supervisa while in Canada. See here, under "Extend your stay": http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/supervisa.asp

Thanks for the replies. I just want to clarify that we already extended their STAY and but I want to know on how to extend/renew VISA for them to be able to come back/ return to Canada in the future as Visitor.

1. Very first thing is put your name in lottery for Sponsoring Parents/Grandparents in 2018.

2. Your family size is 7(it includes your parents, kids and husband)

3. Your required income will be based on family size 7, it includes your income and your spouse's income. 150 of noa of both of you for last 3 years.

EI for maternity is included in income.
Line 150 of your NOA is your total income of year for PGP immigration as per current rules of immigration.
Don't know about future.

I was selected in 2nd round and sent my application on Sep 26, 2017.

Today I got an email from IRCC as a friendly reminder to submit my application.

Did everyone else get same thing?
Thanks.

Yes. I did get the same email this morning. It is only a general reminder. They said to disregard the email if you already submitted your package. You are good!

Hi, Did you receive AOR for your "in laws" by mail on Nov 20th ? Or ECAS was updated on Nov 20th? Thank you.

Weirdly, I am able to see my Parent's Application in Ecas as "Application Received" but have not received an AOR yet. Has anyone had the same issue?

Hi. I finally linked my application to MyCIC account. It says "your action is required" under Details. When I click on "View Status and Messages", I get to the application profile page and all it says there are the names of my parents and their UCI numbers. Then when I click on "View submitted applications", its all empty in the "documents submitted by client" section. I did a paper application so maybe that is why the documents section is empty. But on the first page, is it normal to see "your action is required"? I don't understand what action is required. And also it doesn't say anything about the status. Is this normal?
