Hope you dont mind me asking, why did they ask for DNA?

Thanks
It's usually lack of birth certificates, age differences that are outliers of the 1 sigma, evidence of tampered or forged documents, blah blah, or just a new officer, or heck she was careless and didn't see all the documents.

What should be done is someone should audit the DNA process and see if 1% failed and if they did then keep doing these tests else it's a waste of tax payers money and a huge waste of time to people. I doubt even 1% fail.

If security check is not done yet you are to wait 2 months to 8 months depending on your country of origin. That is if DNA test is done before security check.

Good to know you are done with DNA they wll ask for remedical within 20 days or less, sometimes visa officer extend expired date to one more year for medical but you are close to the finish line soon good luck.

Yeah, usually remedicals mean security has passed. I would assume DNA test is for Eligibility consideration which is usually before security start. DNA test and Medical have nothing in common other than they maybe performed in clinics.

It's easy to know when security check started by check GCMS notes or by logging in to My CIC Account.

*In case of night rocket, it is most likely security passed or else they wouldn't have asked for remedicals unless security was passed. Though anything is possible from disorganized LVOs and CIC. BUT, London LVO sends pre-arrival notices when eligibility passes. I don't see that on his excel sheet row. YET, Yulia I think never received a pre-arrival notice ever. Goes to prove my theory of their utter disorganization.

All,

I became a canadian citizen last year in october. Do you guys think that I should update the sponsorship application and send them a copy of passport/citizenship certificate, as previously i submitted the PR card copy along with the application.

Thanks,

Yes, Medical is done and London Office confirm it that they have received from Doctor.
Couple months after medical pass they might pass your eligibility and then start a 6 to 8 months of security check.
Your medical may or may not expire by the time security is passed.

This is the turtle known as London LVO.
