No I have not received a mail yet. Only shows application received on june 6th on the application status page. Tried to link the application to my GC Key and it couldnt find it either. So I guess have to wait for them to update that and send email.

If you are not able to link the application to GC account then how did you checked the status? Can we check status somewhere else too?

Thanks vsoftco, I used this ECAS system when I applied for my FSW program but then I forgot it... thanks for reminding. My parents immigratuon application was received by CIC on 19June2017. Nothing being shown on ECAS yet...

Still too early in my opinion. My application to sponsor my parents was received on May 26, I couldn't see anything in ECAS until June 25.
Now it's showing application received. We also still can't link the PA application in MYCIC.

So I don't have any email and my application was sent around 22nd June. I don't have any email nor can I find through ECAS or linking application. Just getting nervous with some people getting status update very quickly

it's not, it's just received. It is complete when they say we started bla bla...i had app received on may 11 and requested extra docs june 20.

In a way the application is sufficiently complete to start processing on. Meaning they are not going to send application package back for reasons of being incomplete Which is a good sign.

Mimimo, Javkalin and jessema - You guys have put today as AOR. Did you all get AOR emails, or is it just that you are able to see 'Application Received' on ECAS? I am also able to see 'Application Received' on ECAS and I also called CIC today and the lady confirmed my file is under process. She was also kind enough to give me the file number Though I have not gotten any AOR email yet. Not sure whats going on.

Guys - I have made the sheet read only in case someone deletes everything by mistake. I need volunteers so I can give them write access. This way only few members will have the ability to update the sheet, while everyone can post updates here.
