it should be the date on the back side of PR card (PR since) or when I receive PR visa in India with letter?

Q-5 in past 5 years preceding this application , did u become permanent resident after being sponsored as spouse?

my situation is:
my husband sponsor me in 2012 I came in april,2012 , my pr card expire date this june,2017 (applied new one , hopefully get by end june,2017)

application submission in july 2017 so am cross 5 years then my question is should I click no

but other side if just calculate from 2017 back towards 5 years (2012-2017=5 years)


am confused should I say yes or no


pls suggest....

Could u please confirm how self employed will mention without paystub etc?
is it compulsory or only 3 years NOI is ok

Current year doesn't count anyway so the time from Jan 1, 2017 - Present will not count at this point.
Year 2014,2015 and 2016 should meet minimim criteria as outlined by CIC.
How ever during the application process sponsor do have to maintain minimum financial requirement.

I am not sure for self employed people how they can prove it. I guess they can show earnings or payment received for work. Seniors please advice

Self employed people have to file taxes just like everyone else, and will get NOAs from the CRA. Same income proof is required whether self-employed or otherwise... only CRA tax returns are accepted to prove your income.

I think it is best that you hire a consultant for filling out your forms. Looking at the number of basic questions you have, it is very likely that you will have mistakes in the final submission. You are lucky to have won the spot, don't waste it. Make it count!!! Wish you best of luck.

can u please clarify should we fill form if brother sister are married (over 18) not depended on my parents

should I fill schedule 1 background / declaration form IMM5669 for married brother and sister and addition dependent declaration form? IMM 008DEP

additional family member IMM 5409 required to fill?

Question ---form imm1344 signed by me(sponsor), my co signer- my husband

person I am sponsoring ---am sponsoring both parents but there is signature column only for principal applicant - my father it means mother signature not required on these form although am sponsoring both ?
picture- only applicant picture - example - my father ( photo) require? or mother (spouse ) also?



Question- Statutory declaration form of common law partner IMM 5409 is not required if my parents are legally married with marriage certificate?

Question IMM 008 DEP ADDITION dependent declaration not required if bother sister both are married (over18 age)?


question- Back ground declaration not required for bother sister both are married only mother and father need to fill up their own copy?


question - use of representative not required if am applying my self for my parents/.

Why you need to type in Punjabi. You can type in English

FYI. My wife got selected to sponsor her parents under this program 2017.

Want to mention - if anyone is feeling pain of missing/forgetting the confirmation number (unlike me), don't worry. Just now we received email from CIC with pdf file having all information required to apply (also deadline is extended, not sure for everyone or just us, before it was 24July for us too.). 8)

"The deadline to submit your complete application to sponsor your Parents and Grandparents has been extended to Friday August 4, 2017. You have 90 days to submit a complete application. Some clients have let us know that they did not keep a copy of their unique confirmation number from their Interest to Sponsor web form. Below is a barcode that will help our agents match your application to the information you submitted when you expressed your interest to sponsor. Please print this document and include it as the first page with the application. *12AB345*

If you have already submitted your application to us, you do not need to take any further actions.
