He needs three tax returns filed in Canada that meet the minimum income requirements to qualify. He won't qualify to sponsor you just with one return unless he happens to be living in Quebec. My son has recently moved to Canada from US. He is having Tax returns sufficient to support the Parents. However, He may file his Canadian Return in Jan 2020.
Can some one tell me whether the Income from US Job can be used to show as "proof of income"
Sorry - didn't answer your second question. From the IRCC web site:My son has recently moved to Canada from US. He is having Tax returns sufficient to support the Parents. However, He may file his Canadian Return in Jan 2020.

Thq.Would add that the tax deadline is in May not January. Most people will need To wait until March/April to file. You have quite a few years before you will be able to be sponsored and there is a lot of competition to be selected to bring your parents to Canada as PRs so it may take years to qualify.

Next year's tax deadline announced already? We are talking about next year and in general.
I presume there will be a gap before the PGP opens (in Feb generally) and the opening dates Tax filing. So, it will take a clear 4 years of waiting with 3 Tax years and one on account of the Gap.We are talking about next year and in general.
There were supposed to be some changes this year to the program so we'll need to see. In the past few years the application deadlines have been relatively close to the tax filing deadline.I presume there will be a gap before the PGP opens (in Feb generally) and the opening dates Tax filing. Yes there was a gap between your lottery ballot (as was PGP 2016, 2017) and when you submit the detaills (after the deadline you file your taxes). Yes, if you were lucky to be winning the ballot it will take the clear 4 years. If not, then more than 4 years.I presume there will be a gap before the PGP opens (in Feb generally) and the opening dates Tax filing.
