That’s what I am saying every one has to pay taxes.

You might have born here or moved earlier than me so you paid taxes for 30 years? Why I am upset becoz some people say that

Govt haven’t gave me any free money for me too.

I am also working hard. Don't make comments like Canada subsidized your open work permit

Ok, so you’ve been paying taxes for four years . So ? Everyone is obligated to pay & file taxes , that’s nothing special .
As well YOU applied to study in Canada , you knew the fees upfront for international students ..correct me if I’m wrong ..it’s not some hidden agenda put together by all the universities in this country .
You get access to the social safety net in this country if you’re eligible for them, you don’t
I worked for 30 years , paid into the system, got laid off, I received exactly 4 weeks of EI. Did I agree with it ? No, but that’s the law .
When I took compassionate care leave because my mother was dying of terminal cancer, and she had 4 weeks to live and I had to wait 2 weeks for the benefits to start , was it fair ?
No, but that’s the law
So when someone has chose this country , and is now having issues with the laws this country has implemented , the one they chose to come to , I really have a hard time understanding it

Good luck
I also have to wait 1 week for my maternity leave benefit to start. Did I complained?? You are missing my point. My question is if Some one on implied status can work why not they can receive EI benifits??

From previous posts, you have been in Canada for over 2 years and worked a total of 8-9 months, just enough to qualify for EI for each of your pregnancies. You also left Canada for at least 6 weeks and were allowed to continue to receive EI despite not even being in Canada. You had 2 children in Canada, which I'm guessing provincial health care paid for, not you.

Seriously, stop complaining. Canadian taxpayers have subsidized quite a bit for you.

Sorry I just realized that you are the one who is paying my rent, groceries, child care expenses, cell phone bill and visa application fee etc. I am so sorry sir. Even the air I am breathing

I am a tax payer too. Do you want to see my NOA from CRA for past 4 years?? Since you are here for a long time you might have paid more. If I stay long enough I will also pay what’s a big deal in it??

Not a sir and cut the dramatics. Many things in your life have been subsidized by Canadians.

I don't need to see your NOAs and you don't have them for the past 4 years. I read the previous posts. You, the wife, came to Canada later in 2016. You worked for 4 months and went on maternity EI until mid 2018. You then worked another maybe 4-5 months, enough to qualify for maternity EI again, which you are still on.

Also, you never answered the question. Are you actually back in Canada now or still in your country?

I don’t understand you. You keep on saying that many things in my life are subsidized. You are here for longer time so you paid more tax. If I stay long enough I will pay the same. You are sounding like I got everything for free. I just can’t understand it.

Did you try thinking what would happen if the outcome of your work permit application is a refusal?
