Hi Everybody,
I have a quick question and i'd appreciate your input.
I'm a naturalised Canadian citizen and sponsored my wife in 2015. She landed and became PR early 2016. If everything goes according to plan, she will apply for her citizenship in a few months.
anyhow, we're both interested in sponsoring our parents. She's looking to sponsor both of her parents and i'm looking to sponsor my mother this year. unfortunately my 2016 income doesn't allow me to sponsor both her parents (as co-signer) and both of mine. so i'll probably look into sponsoring my father next year.
What implications if any are there that she herself was sponsored by me back in 2015/2016. Is it a non-factor? Could it mean she can't sponsor her parents until she becomes a citizen and no longer a "sponsored PR"?
sorry if i provided TMI,
thanks in advance
