Hi All,
Need some advice.

I submitted TRV for my parents and it got rejected for following reasons:
1) Purpose of Visit.
2) Asset and Financial status

For Asset and Financial status: My father has around 11,000 CAD and mother has around 5,000 CAD in her account. I submitted papers for property that my father owns however didn't do an valuation for those properties.

Also, do you guys have any idea about "purpose of visit"?

Should I resbumit TRV with property valuation documents?

or should I apply for Super visa? I meet the LICO requirment for super visa

Any suggestions

How long have you been in Canada and do you have an NOA that shows you meet LICO? See that you didn't have the 3NOAs for PGP. Is the family property valuable?

I have been in Canada for 3 years now. Become PR this year in April. Yes, I have NOA from last year.
I don't have NOA for 3 years thus cannot apply for PGP.
Yes, the family property is valuable, should be more than 500,000 CAD.

Your first option is to reapply with property evaluation and see if that is enough. The other option is to apply for a supervisa. If you want your parents to stay for a log period of time and you have some savings on top of making over LICO you should go for the supervisa.

They also mentioned purpose of visit. What did you say in your application?

This is what I included in the letter of invitation:

My name is XYZ, I was born on XYZ and I am currently residing in XYZ. I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and I live in XYZ. My household does not include anyone. I work at XYZ as XYZ with a yearly salary of approximately XYZ

My parents could not come over for my Convocation which was held on XYZ. I really missed their presence. All my friends had their parent visiting for convocation apart from me. I missed them a lot. I want to get over that regret and take them to Montreal and more specifically to the University where I completed my masters. Also, I have recently bought a Condo and would like to invite my parents to seek their blessings for my new place.

They intend to stay with me here for 3 weeks, from Feb 9th, 2019 till March 3nd, 2019. They will be booking their flights by January. This time was chosen because Feb 18th is a long weekend in Ontario plus March 2nd is my brother-in-law’s birthday.

Housing and food costs will be covered by me; they will cover all other costs of the trip.

My Father’s name is XYZ and Mother’s name is XYZ. Both of them live together at XYZ. My Father is running a business with annual turnover of XYZ and my mom is a home maker.

Please be advised, that my parents will not overstay their visit as they have important obligations with their respective businesses and the sole purpose of their visit is to visit me, my sister and her family here.

AND I MAKE THIS SOLEMN DECLARATION, conscientiously believing it to be true and knowing that it has the same legal force and effects as if made under oath and by virtue of the Canada Evidence Act.

Should you need any further information, please feel free to contact me.
