I want to sponsor my parents and one of their dependent who is 15 years old. My step brother who is my father's dependent has been dismissed from his previous school because of bad behaviour and he has been home for the rest of the school year. It is said that for a dependent to be eligible for sponsorship he/she must be continuouslly enroll as full time student. He will be going back to school this Sepember, he is 15 years old. Does the time he stayed at home disqualifies him as a dependent?

As long as he is under 22, he is still a dependent child, whether he is in school or not.

At this time she cannot be included. The dependent age is 18 years and younger. The Liberals have promised to change this, but no new rules so far.
