This process is so bad, I wish someone on the Inside would let us know how badly they process these applications. There must only be 1 or 2 people working on them....

They might have applied with emergency conditions. Or they are just pure lucky
it seems more IRCC offices are getting trained in E-App processing, so offices with no queue of E-Apps will process newer (2022) applications faster than the other offices. [ This was the situation IRCC had in late 2020, where they had 200 E-Apps in total and it got processed under 6 months]

Exactly by the end of Aug 2022 online applications will be processed less than 6 months and in person oath taking will resume . The IRCC officers are being trained.

I am not that optimistic. There are still 400,000 applications and they are targetting only 200,000 citizenship grants a year. Unless IRCC comes with some radical new process, we will be in this situation at least till the end of the year( Return to a normal schedule by end of the year as stated by the IRCC Minister).

I filed another complaint with the OIC because of new Access to Information Act violations regarding my ATIP requests that have not yet been resolved. Let's see if they will be bothered to investigate this time, if there is any accountability at all and what their investigation even accomplishes.

I took the test on Sunday night (technically Monday EST) and they updated the tracker yesterday to mark the test as completed. <24 hour turnaround for that whereas in the past I've seen it take days or weeks.
How long did you study for the test? is it hard?

The test is really easy that you don't need to spend days studying for it. I read the book once, did a couple of tests from Richmond library and Apna Toronto. And then took the test right after that. Total time spent was 3 hours.

The actual test is far simpler than Apna Toronto or Richmond library tests. I got 18/20 and I was done with the test in 3 minutes.

This process is really pissing me off...

I don't understand how some people who submitted their Online applications back in Oct/Nov/Dec LAST YEAR still only have AOR while someone who submitted a paper application in June/July this year has already completed the test and is about to get Citizenship.

They need to start processing applications IN ORDER in which they are received!!!

Yup I feel both upset and stupid for trusting their illogic system lol.
