Paper-delivered vs Computer-delivered IELTS test in India

I will take a computer based exam this December. Is it okay to write my answer on reading and listening exam in all capital letters?

It's not good to write everything in capital letters. Haven't tried it and not heard it from anyone about this though. It would be risk I feel.

It is not good to write all in block letter, Because they need to know whether you know whats noun and for what capital has to be used.

Its better to stick to normal writings.

In my opinion, it is good to write all in blocks, that way you don't have to worry about mistakes in capitalization of some words. I have done that in listening section of all my three attempts (all paper based) and I had 8.5,7.5 and 8.5 listening scores in those tests.

Not sure about computer delivered test though. But I don't see any reason why they will change it for Computer based.

Usually the results will be released 5 to 6 days (IELTS CD) after completing your speaking test. Results should be rolled out online at 6PM IST.

If there is still no update please contact your IDP test location center and they will help you out regarding this.

I somehow feel they are marking blindly, I was so confident that I will make it this time.

I recently updated my passport so got new one, may be with first time writing they give 6 in both w and s.

Felt very upset. But never giving up, taking it again.

I wrote on 3/Nov in Bangalore, got results in 8th day (11/Nov).

That's only available in Chandigarh. Not in Bangalore. And I'm very much familiar with IELTS patterns. Sudden change in exam patterns will be difficult.

Don't lose confidence because of the frustration with the outcome. Use the tips why I recommended.
Pay more attention to writing task 2 and also refer to "Barons guide to IELTS writing" book. That should definitely help you score a 7 band in writing.
I found it frustrating too after so many attempts but did not give up. Wish you all the best in your upcoming IELTS exam....

My friend tried and got his marks in first attempt.,I have given IELTS three time got 6.5 in writing.so I will start preparing celpip and have heard that celpip is good and have fair marking as compare to ielts
