there are no legal principles that dictate processing times. You are never guaranteed a certain timeline, CIC is not bound by any legal means here. Even when they state a processing time, it is always approximate and only applies to 80% of all applications and based on the past and current data. There are several principes that this can not be legal.
Anyway, did u called them?
Yes I did. But they said the application is still in process.U should call them.
Processing times its 16 months.
So they are obligated to give an answer...
Seems terrible.Yes I did. But they said the application is still in process.
Last they asked me for an updated job letter.
It is terrible. The problem is that we can't plan anything as the timelines keep changing and they don't follow a proper processing for all.Seems terrible.
exactly. I had to helplessly watch crazy vancouver housing prices increasing 200-300% in front of my eyes and I couldn't buy anything while it was still affordable because I'm not PR. So now even after I get PR, I won't be able to buy anything here, because it's gotten insane. It is terrible. And I'm not even taking into account my career and further education, that are put on pause, while I'm waiting. The only tricky thing is that you can't pause time, and years just go by
i don't think they do it on purpose. it's just trivial inefficiency that is typical for large government bodies.Seriously ya..and the CIC people seems inhuman really. They can easily do evreveryth in time but they just don't want to I guess.
I guess you are right.i don't think they do it on purpose. it's just trivial inefficiency that is typical for large government bodies.
Same here I applied when it was 14 months . No sign of ppr yet .I've applied when it was still 14 months so imagine my frustration
