Pakistani's :: Where to get proper fingerprints done in Pakistan ? (for FBI use)

Hi guys .. I need to generate a police certificate for US, and FBI requires that I send them my fingerprints. So does anyone know where in Islamabad/Pakistan I can get proper fingerprints taken through those digital fingerprint readers ? FBI has given specific parameters which need to be followed when taking the fingerprints, and only a fingerprint technician would be able to understand them ... I know the US embassy has that equipment and expertise, but I don't know of any commercial place which can do this.

Does anyone know ?

go to your nearest police station. they will guide you to the forensic department or specific location where they provide this facility. i did mine from karachi. they had a forensic dept in Saddar area.

Did you also get them done for the purpose of sending them to FBI ?

Did they make electronic scans and them print them on a card/paper, or did they apply ink on your fingers and have you put them on the paper directly ?

Did you charge you a fee ? If yes, how much ?

I'm just worried that those guys might not follow any standards, and may just make some silly fingerprint impressions which the FBI rejects after months of wait :/

yes i did for the purpose of FBI. and dont worry they are good at doing their job. to be on a safe side do finger prints twice. i mean two separate finger printed forms and send it to FBI.

i have done all this from Karachi for FBI ...it was done at garden police head office...yes the put ink on finger and then put finger print on paper...they have special finger printing kit. and they r good in it mine was accepted and i got my FBI report

Hi,
It was forensic dept, garden police head quarter.
They provide ink scan facility. You take your forms and they will assist you in scanning.
They don't charge any fee.

I got it done from a police station in rawalpindi, although I don't remember the name .. I think all main police stations have this facility ..

Hello,

I needed to get my fingerprinting done to send to the FBI in USA for Police Clearance (PC). I tried all the police stations in Islamabad but they did not have the skills or equipment for this job. Eventually I found a fingerprinting expert in the Prosecution Division of F-8 Markaz (Kacheri) in Islamabad. He charged me a nominal fee of Rs 500 and did a perfect job.
