hy @ mohsin i applied online with upfront medical and my status is still the same for medical not needed at this time and application is still open. I did sent the email and they replied its still in processing time and under review hopefully next week they would woke up

guys on 2nd September classes gonna start and joining date is 26 aug as mentioned on offer letter, still no reply from CIC. what should i do? should i defer? and one other thing i wanna ask no reply from CIC not even asked for medical. Does it mean refusal?

No, they only change status when they think some decision has been reached or some action needs to be taken by the applicant.

If you have already waited for more than 11 weeks, send them a case specific inquiry, you can't call them. I hope this helps.

if i wait for 11 weeks, then i'm afraid i'll have to wait for 1 more year.
coz its been 10 week today since i submitted my application.
and if i wait for 1 more week, then 2 days will be left for classes to start and everything will be gone to vain.

I also go through the same situation, my work starts on 3rd September and I have waited for almost 11 weeks. I will fax them and send a case specific inquiry once the 77 days misery is over. In your case, please send them a fax. I can afford to wait a bit more as I have the flexibility to start whenever I want till January 2015.

No they don't work on these two days. But in the 11 week time, weekends are included.
