This for those who continue to live in that country where certificate is issued from

Hmmmmmmmmmmm are you sure, I slightly don't agree with that. It has been clearly stated that if you have lived anywhere for more than 6 months, you need to provide PCC, not older than 3 months. Can you please find out the real story?

It's all about common sense. How come, You provide with a police from that contury where You no longer live.

Its because people have on going "in absentia" cases in countries where they have once lived and the convictions could come at any time. So, to avoid convicted criminals, Canada needs very recent "NO TRACE" PCCs.

As you stated, you left those country

Yes I left those countries but the CHC wants to know there are no convictions after I left, i.e I didn't leave any of those countries because of an adverse police record. Anyway, I will upload my expiring certificates soon, if they have any issues, they will contact me. Thanks for your help.

Guys I have a question, can somebody shed some light on it please. See below,

My Police Clearance Certificates from two countries are going to expire during the next 15 days as I have been waiting for the CHC to ask me to upload them, but they didn't. So what should I do? They are very expensive and time consuming. If they expire, it will take me at-least one month to get them back and I don't suppose the CHC will wait for me for that long to upload them into myCIC account. One set of these Police Clearance Certificates has already expired during my previous visa application.

Looking forward,

-Brass

The police clearance certificate should not be old more than 3 months at the time of receiving at CHC. I would suggest you to send it original via courier along with an explanation letter.
